Victoria MUZIK Was Arrested

(DRUMMOND-NORTH ELMSLEY TWP, ON) – The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an Ottawa resident following a traffic complaint in Drummond-North Elmsley Township.

Lanark County OPP responded to a traffic complaint on Ebbs Bay Road on Saturday, August 23, 2025, just after 9:30 p.m. The vehicle was located, and the driver was arrested and transported to Carleton Place for testing.

As a result of the investigation, Victoria MUZIK, 40-years-old, has been charged with failure or refusal to comply with breath demand.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Monday, September 22, 2025.

The individual’s driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days (Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension), and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.

Noah MARTIN Facing Numerous Charges

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – A young motorist is facing multiple driving-related charges after being stopped by police on Highway 3.

At approximately 2:34 a.m. on Monday, July 7, 2025, a member of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Highway 3 in Delhi and initiated an investigation after observing a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed.

Following an interaction with the driver, the individual was taken into custody without incident.

As a result, 18-year-old Noah MARTIN of Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Failure or refusal to comply with demand,
  • Drive motor vehicle – perform stunt – excessive speed,
  • Speeding 50+ km/h over posted speed limit,
  • Novice driver refuse to provide breath sample,
  • Fail to surrender permit for motor vehicle.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.

Luis Fernandez Charged

(CLARENCE – ROCKLAND & NATION, ON) – Members of the Russell County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged a motorist for failure or refusal to comply with a demand.

On May 3, at approximately 11:02 a.m., officers responded to a report of a collision involving two vehicles in a commercial parking lot in Clarence – Rockland. 

Officers attended the scene and during the investigation requested a driver involved in the collision provide a sample of his breath into an Approved Screening Device (ASD). The driver failed to provide a suitable sample.

As a result of the investigation, 61-year-old, Luis Fernandez, of Clarence-Rockland, Ontario, was charged under the Criminal Code (CC) with:

  • Failure or refusal to comply with a demand

The motorist received a 90-day driver’s licence suspension, and their vehicle was impounded for seven days.

They are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in L’Orignal on June 11, 2025.

Motorist and residents are encouraged to call 911 when they see someone they believe may be driving while impaired by alcohol or drugs.

Katelyn TILSON Was Arrested

(BROCKTON, ON) – On April 10, 2025, at approximately 1:10 a.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E.) along Durham Street East, Municipality of Brockton.

A vehicle entered the area where the police then spoke with the driver. The investigating officer detected signs of impairment.

Katelyn TILSON, 29-years-old, of the Municipality of Brockton, was charged with:

  • Failure or refusal to comply with demand, CC 320.15(1)
  • Possession of a schedule I substance, CDSA 4(1)

The accused is set to appear at the Walkerton Court of Justice on May 21, 2025 to answer to the charge.

Roberta ORBAN – Failure To Comply

(HUNTSVILLE, ON) – On April 4, 2025 at 10:30 p.m. officers of the Huntsville O.P.P. were on patrol on Centre Street when they observed a vehicle travelling without any headlights or taillights on and making a wide left turn. Officers conducted a traffic stop and spoke with the female driver.

Officers detected an odour of alcohol. Officers issued an Approved Screening Device Demand (roadside breath testing) but driver flat out refused.

As a result of the investigation, Roberta ORBAN, 73 years old of Huntsville Ontario, has been charged with:

·      Failure or refusal to comply with demand

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on May 13, 2025.

The accused was also issued a 90 Administrative Driver’s License Suspension.

Trevor BAILEY-SLEZSAK Was Arrested

(ESPANOLA, ON) – One person is facing impaired-related charges after police were called to a local establishment.

On April 5, 2025, at approximately 2:30 a.m., the Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call reporting a possible impaired driver. Shortly after, police located the vehicle and requested a breath sample from the driver using an Approved Screening Device (ASD). The driver refused to comply and as a result was placed under arrest.

The driver, Trevor BAILEY-SLEZSAK, 25-years-old from Espanola, was charged with failure to comply with demand.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Espanola on May 5, 2025.

Wolfgang WRIGHT Was Arrested

(HAVELOCK-BELMONT-METHUEN TOWNSHIP, ON) – Officers from the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an individual after receiving a trespass call.

On April 5, 2025, at approximately 4:00pm, officers from the Peterborough County OPP received a call regarding individuals trespassing at the Cordova Dam located on Fire Route 18. The report stated that there were three individuals at the location and a hole had been cut in the chain-link fence. The report also stated that a tent had been set up and that the three individuals were drinking at the location.

Officers arrived on scene confirming what had been relayed to them and also noted a boat at the shoreline. The individuals were advised that they were currently trespassing and although there were posted signs, one person advised they thought it was crown land.

During the interaction with the parties, it was determined that one of them was currently on a release order with conditions for them to not be within 100 metres of one of the others. As a result, an arrest was made.

Wolfgang WRIGHT (age 23) from Pickering, ON., was arrested and charged with;

·      Failure to comply with Undertaking

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on May 6, 2025.

Mandy ROBICHAUD Was Arrested

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Driver charged with refusal after vehicle leaves road and rolls.

On March 24, 2025, at 12:04 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Middlesex-London Paramedic Service were dispatched to Carriage Road in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre for the report of a single vehicle collision.

The driver of the vehicle was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex County OPP detachment.

As a result, Mandy ROBICHAUD, a 49-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·      Failure or refusal to comply with demand

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on May 8, 2025.

The driver was not injured.

Diane PIZZICAROLA Was Arrested – Details Released

(NIAGARA FALLS, ON) – A driver was arrested and charged criminally after she was stopped and found to be serving a 1-year Criminal Code driver’s licence suspension because of an impaired driving conviction in November 2024.

On Thursday, February 6, 2025, at approximately 11:30am, an OPP Officer from the Niagara Detachment was on general patrol on Highway 420 and Drummond Ave, Niagara Falls when a vehicle was stopped, with the assistance of Automatic Licence Plate Recognition (ALPR) technology.

As a result of the investigation, Diane PIZZICAROLA, age 56, from Niagara Falls has been charged with:

·      Operation While Prohibited Under the Criminal Code

·      Failure To Comply With Undertaking

·      Operate a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance

The accused was released from custody and is set to appear on March 10th, 2025, at the Ontario Court of Justice, St. Catharines.

Travis GRAHAM Was Arrested – Details Released

(Prince Edward County, ON) – Members of the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged an individual as a result of a traffic stop.

On January 31, 2025, at approximately 3:45 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on County Road 49.

As a result of the investigation, Travis GRAHAM, age 34 from Belleville, was arrested and charged with:

  • Failure or refusal to comply with demand
  • Speeding
  • Possession of unmarked cigarettes

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on February 19, 2025. They also had their driver’s license suspended for a period of 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days.

One From Wasaga Beach Arrested

(COLLINGWOOD, ON) – On February 05, 2025, a citizen reported a possible impaired driver to the Ontario Provincial Police. The incident happened in the East end of the Town of Collingwood around 4:00 pm. The driver, it was reported, was in a Ford Escape driving with the hatch open and had committed several traffic violations.

An officer of the Collingwood OPP responded and found the vehicle halfway into a snowbank at Beachwood Road and Bellholme Lane. Further investigation led to the officer arresting the female driver for impaired driving.

55-year-old Rhonda Norlander of Wasaga Beach, ON has been charged with:

·        Failure or Refusal to comply with Demand (Criminal Code)

·        Having care or control of vehicle with cannabis readily available (Cannabis Control Act)

·        Fail to Yield to Traffic (Highway Traffic Act)

The motor vehicle was impounded for 7 days, and the accused is set to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Collingwood on February 18th, 2025

WHITFIELD Was Arrested

(TEMISKAMING SHORES, ON) – A vehicle in the ditch leads to one person being charged with impaired and resisting arrest.

On January 31, 2025, at approximately 3:30 a.m., members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a vehicle in the ditch on Highway 11 in Temiskaming Shores.

The OPP located the vehicle and found the driver still inside. As a result of the investigation, the driver was arrested for impaired driving and transported to detachment for further testing.

Kurt WHITFIELD, 29 years-of-age of North Bay, was charged with:

  • Failure or refusal to comply with demand
  • Resist Peace Officer

The accused was issued a 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and the vehicle was impounded for seven days. They are scheduled to appear before the Haileybury Ontario Court of Justice on March 4, 2025.

Satrohan SINGH Charged

(DUFFERIN COUNTY) – Members of the Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) work extremely hard to keep the roads safe in Dufferin County. Officers have removed and charged a Brampton resident with Highway Traffic Act (HTA), Criminal Code of Canada (CCC) offences along with a three-day driver’s licence suspension as the result of a traffic stop.

On October 7, 2024, just after 1:00 a.m., Dufferin OPP officers were conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Highway 10 in the Town of Mono. Officers conducted a traffic stop and were quickly led to an impaired driving investigation.

Satrohan SINGH, 35-year-old male, from Brampton has been charged with:

•      Failure to comply with undertaking

•      Speeding 1 – 49 Km/h over posted limit

The driver was also issued a three-day driver’s licence suspension for being within the “warn” range at the roadside.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville to answer to the charges. Their driver’s licence was suspended, and the vehicle was impounded.

Gaetan DORVAL Was Arrested

(HEARST, ON) – A traffic stop in Hearst led to a criminal charge for refusing a demand for a sobriety test.

On October 1, 2024, at approximately 12:00 p.m., the James Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Highway 583 South in Hearst. Officers determined the driver had been consuming an intoxicating substance, and the driver was arrested and transported to the Hearst detachment for further testing.

The driver refused testing at detachment, and as a result of the investigation, Gaetan DORVAL, 51 years-of-age from Hearst, was charged with:

·        Failure to comply with demand

·        Drive vehicle with cannabis readily available

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on November 6, 2024, in Hearst. The accused was also issued a 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS), and the vehicle was impounded for 7 days.

A refusal charge carries with it the same penalties as impaired driving, which if convicted, may include fines, imprisonment, and a further licence suspension of at least one year.

Pascal LESSARD Was Arrested

(COCHRANE, ON) – A traffic complaint in Cochrane led to a criminal charge for refusing a breath demand.

On September 8, 2024, at approximately 2:00 a.m., the James Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call of a suspected impaired driver. Officers were able to located the subject driver on Victoria Avenue in the town of Cochrane. Officer determined the driver had been consuming an alcoholic beverage, and the driver was arrested and transported to the Cochrane detachment for further testing. The driver refused testing at detachment, and as a result of the investigation, Pascal LESSARD, 36 years-of-age from Cochrane, was charged with failure to comply with demand.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on October 8, 2024, in Cochrane. The accused was also issued a 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS), and the vehicle was impounded for 7 days.

A refusal charge carries with it the same penalties as impaired driving, which if convicted, may include fines, imprisonment, and a further licence suspension of at least one year.
