Jordan Dixon – Drunk Driving

(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – Members from the City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) entered into an impaired driving investigation after receiving a traffic complaint for driving behaviour.

On Saturday July 05, 2025 at approximately 9:04 pm officers responded to a traffic complaint regarding a motor vehicle northbound on Highway 35 south of Highway 7. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle in Lindsay and entered into an impaired driving investigation. The driver was arrested and charged with impaired driving related charges as well as Highway Traffic Act Offences.

Jordan Dixon, 34-year-old of Ajax, was charged with:

  • Operation while Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs
  • Careless Driving
  • Drive Motor Vehicle, No Currently Validated Permit

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay at a later date. The motor vehicle was towed and impounded for 7 days and drivers license was suspended for 90 days.

Shanna ROSE Was Arrested

(SPRINGWATER TOWNSHIP, ON) – The Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an individual with impaired driving related charges.

On July 4, 2025, shortly after 11:00 p.m., Huronia West OPP officers were conducting a R.I.D.E. program on Mills Street East in Springwater Township.

Officers observed a vehicle that had stopped for the R.I.D.E. spot check and after speaking with the driver, officers formed grounds that the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol, leading to an arrest. As a result of the investigation, Shanna ROSE, 44-year-old of Oro-Medonte, was arrested and has been charged with the following:

·      Operation while Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located in Collingwood on July 29, 2025, to answer to the charges.

21 Year Old From Owen Sound Arrested

(SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – One person has been charged following a traffic stop in South Bruce Peninsula.

On July 3, 2025, at approximately 3:51 p.m., the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Bruce Road 8 near the Town of Hepworth.

Jenna INGLIS, 21-year-old of Owen Sound, was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

·      Operation while impaired

·      Operation while impaired- B.A.C. 80 plus

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on July 24, 2025.

Edward WARREN – Drunk Driving

(SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – On July 3, 2025, at approximately 3:42 p.m., the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E) at Sauble Falls Road and 2nd Avenue in the Town of Sauble Beach.

A vehicle entered the checkpoint where police then spoke with the driver. The investigating officer detected signs of impairment. The driver was arrested and transported for further testing.

Edward WARREN, 40-year-old of South Bruce Peninsula, was charged with the following Highway Traffic Act, and Criminal Code offences:

·      Operation while impaired

·      Operation while impaired- B.A.C. 80 plus

·      Driver- fail to properly wear seat belt

·      Drive motor vehicle- no licence

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on July 24, 2025.

On Friday, June 27, 2025, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Renfrew OPP responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Calabogie Road in Greater Madawaska Township.

As a result of the investigation, Douglas HARPER, age 25 of McDonalds Corners was charged with:

·        Operation while impaired- alcohol and drugs

·        Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused was release and schedule to attend the Pembroke Court of Justice on July 30th, 2025.

The individual’s driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days, and their vehicle was impounded for seven days.

Robert TEMPLETON Arrested At RIDE

(BROCKTON, ON) – On July 4, 2025, at approximately 1:20 a.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E.) along Durham Street East, Municipality of Brockton.

A vehicle entered the area where police then spoke with the driver. The investigating officer detected signs of impairment. The driver was arrested and transported for further testing.

Robert TEMPLETON, 24-years-old, resident of Cambridge, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – B.A.C. 80 plus, CC 320.14(1)(b)

The accused is set to appear on August 13, 2025, at the Walkerton Court of Justice to answer to the charges.

(LAKESHORE, ON) – One person has been charged following a traffic complaint in Lakeshore.

On June 27, 2025, at approximately 3:20 p.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint on Manning Road near Highway #3 in the Municipality of Lakeshore.

Mark CADARETTE, 70-years-old of Windsor, was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act, and Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act offences:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Driving while under suspension
  • Operate a motor vehicle without insurance

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused was scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Windsor on July 7, 2025, to answer to the charges.

(TECUMSEH, ON) – One person has been charged following a traffic stop in Tecumseh.

On June 27, 2025, at approximately 1:44 a.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle on Tecumseh Road East in the Town of Tecumseh.

Kyle DROUILLARD, 21-years-old of Lasalle, was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act offences:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Dangerous Operation
  • Failure of refusal to comply with demand
  • Red Light – Fail to Stop
  • Novice driver – B.A.C. above zero
  • Young driver – B.A.C. above zero

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused was scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Windsor on July 15, 2025, to answer to the charges.

73 Year Old Drunk Driver Arrested

(BANCROFT, ON) – Members of the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one person with impaired operation.

On Wednesday, July 2, 2025, just after 4:00 p.m., Bancroft OPP officers received a traffic complaint from a member of the public. A short time later officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. An Approved Screening Device was used during the stop, as a result the driver was transported to the detachment for further testing.

Carol BULLIED, a 73-year-old resident of Petawawa, has been charged with the following:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused’s licence was suspended for 90 days and their vehicle impounded for seven days. The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on August 5, 2025.

(LEAMINGTON, ON) – One person has been charged following a traffic complaint in the Town of Leamington.

On June 26, 2025, at approximately 9:19 p.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint on Highway 77 in the Town of Leamington.

(BANCROFT, ON) – Members of the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one person with impaired operation.

On Sunday, June 29, 2025, just after 6:30 p.m., Bancroft OPP officers were conducting traffic patrol on Highway 28 South in Faraday Township. Officers conducted a traffic stop for a Highway Traffic Act offense. John COOK, a 57-year-old resident of Oshawa, has been charged with the following:

–      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused’s licence was suspended for 90 days and their vehicle impounded for seven days. The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on August 5, 2025.

Evon COSSAR – Drunk Driving

(CLEARVIEW TOWNSHIP, ON) – The Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an individual with impaired driving related charges because of a traffic hazard.

On June 28, 2025, shortly after 1:00 a.m., Huronia West OPP officers responded to a traffic hazard of a possible impaired driver in Clearview Township.

Officers were able to locate the vehicle on County Road 42. During the interaction, officers formed grounds that the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol, leading to an arrest. As a result of the investigation, Evon COSSAR, 45-year-old of Kitchener, was arrested and has been charged with the following:

·      Operation while Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located in Collingwood on July 22, 2025, to answer to the charges.

 (INGERSOLL, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Oxford Detachment responded to the report of a suspected impaired driver, resulting in one person being charged with impaired driving.

On June 28, 2025, at approximately 12:00 p.m., members of Oxford OPP were dispatched to King Street East in the Town of Ingersoll for a traffic complaint.

As a result of the investigation, Nathaniel MILLS, a 29-year-old resident of the Town of Ingersoll, has been charged with:

Blair SCANLON Was Arrested


(LOYALIST TOWNSHIP, ON) – 
Lennox and Addington County members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one person with impaired driving related charges over the weekend.

On Sunday, June 29, 2025, just after 10:00 p.m., L&A County OPP members were advised of a motor vehicle stopped in the middle of the road on Manitou Crescent in Amherstview. The vehicle was located by police and the driver was arrested.

 Blair SCANLON, a 39-year-old from Amherstview, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol
  • Operation while impaired – over 80 mgs of alcohol

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on July 15, 2025. Their driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days, and their vehicle was impounded.

19 Year Old Deceased – One Arrested

(ERIN, ON) – The Wellington County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is currently investigating a single-vehicle collision involving a utility task vehicle (UTV) that has left one person deceased.

On Saturday, June 28, 2025, at approximately 12:15 a.m., the OPP responded to reports of a serious collision involving a UTV carrying four passengers that had overturned at the intersection of Sideroad 10 at Eighth Line in Erin.

The deceased has been identified as a 19-year-old male from Burlington. The three other passengers did not suffer any injuries.

On Saturday, June 28, 2025, Julian CONNELL, a 20-year-old of Erin, was charged with:

·        Young driver Blood Alcohol Content above zero

·        Operation causing death

·        Dangerous operation causing death

·        Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration 80 plus

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Provincial Court of Justice in Guelph on Tuesday, July 29, 2025.
