Nancy DAVIDSON-HINDS Was Arrested

(BRANT, ON) – On Sunday, March 23, 2025, at approximately 9:46 p.m., members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision on Brant School Road.

Through investigation, police identified the driver as a 60-year-old from Brant County who was subsequently taken into custody without incident and transported to the Brant OPP Detachment.

As a result, Nancy DAVIDSON-HINDS, 60 years of age, of Brant County, has been charged with the following offences:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Dangerous operation
  • Failure or refusal to comply with demand
  • Fail to remain, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on April 10, 2025.

Harrison KIRTON Was Arrested

(TOWNSHIP OF ALNWICK/HALDIMAND) – The Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating an incident following a disturbance at a business in Roseneath.

On January 7, 2025, shortly before 7:00 p.m., police responded to a report of an individual causing issues for staff and driving erratically in the parking lot while patrons were present.

The subject of the complaint had left the area prior to the arrival of police. Following an investigation, a person was identified and sought in connection to the incident.

On January 8, 2025, Harrison KIRTON (age 19) from Cobourg, was arrested and charged with:

–      Dangerous operation

–      Mischief under $5,000

–      Drive motor vehicle – perform stunt.

In addition to a future court date, the accused had their licence suspended for 30 days and vehicle impounded for 14 days.

Emily HOWARTH Was Arrested

(DRYDEN, ON) – Members of the Dryden Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment have arrested and charged one individual after a motor vehicle collision.  

On December 11, 2024, at approximately 4:00 p.m. members of the Dryden OPP Detachment responded to a motor vehicle collision on Memorial Avenue in the City of Dryden.

As a result of the investigation, it was determined that one of the drivers involved in the collision had been consuming alcoholic beverages. The driver was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the Dryden OPP Detachment for further testing.

Emily HOWARTH, 21-years-old, of Dryden, has been arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with:

·         Dangerous operation

·         Mischief – renders property dangerous, useless, inoperative or ineffective

·         Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

·         Mischief Over $5000

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Dryden January 20, 2025.

Robert NKIIKO – Dangerous Operation

(OTTAWA, ON) -Members of the Ottawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an Ottawa resident with refusal to provide a breath sample following a traffic complaint on Highway 417.

Shortly after midnight on November 6, 2024, officers responded to a traffic complaint on Highway 417, near Terry Fox Drive, regarding a vehicle stopping multiple time in live lanes. Upon stopping the vehicle, the officer demanded that the individual submit a sample using an Approved Roadside Screening Device. The driver refused to provide a breath sample and was arrested.

Robert NKIIKO, 52 years of age has been charged with:

  • Failure or refusal to comply with demand
  • Dangerous operation

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on December 12, 2024. They received a 90-day licence suspension, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.

SEHAJPREET SINGH Arrested After Parent & Child Sent To Hospital

(CALEDON, ON) – Members of the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a driver involved in a collision with dangerous operation.

On October 22, 2024, just before 7:00 p.m., officers responded to a collision at Kennedy Road and Dougall Avenue in the community of Southfields Village in the Town of Caledon. The incident involved a parent and young child that were hit by a vehicle. Both were transported to hospital with injuries that are not life threatening or life altering in nature.

As a result of the investigation, SEHAJPREET SINGH, 21, of Caledon, was charged with:

• Dangerous Operation

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on November 21, 2024, to answer to the charge.

Balwinder DHALIWAL Was Arrested

(LENNOX AND ADDINGTON COUNTY, ON) – The Lennox and Addington (L&A) County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a transport truck driver with Dangerous operation.

On September 30, 2024, just after 8:00 p.m., officers received a report of a transport truck and trailer that had entered Highway 401 the wrong direction at Palace Road. Multiple people reported seeing the vehicle traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes on the north shoulder.

The vehicle was reported to have turned around at the westbound service centre and was located by police driving westbound and stopped by police. The driver was arrested by police.

As a result of the investigation, Balwinder DHALIWAL, age 48, of Brampton was charged with dangerous operation.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on November 19, 2024 at 9:00 a.m.

Navanna DOXTATOR Was Arrested

(ONEIDA NATION OF THE THAMES FIRST NATION, ON) – Driver facing charges as a result of a collision investigation.

On September 24, 2024, at 12:52 p.m., members of the Oneida Nation Police, Chippewas of the Thames First Nation Police and Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to Townline Road in Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation for a for the report of a collision.

The driver collided with a parked vehicle and fled the scene prior to police arrival, however, was located a short time later not far from the scene at which time a traffic stop was initiated.  

The driver was arrested and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

The vehicle had previously been reported stolen out of Chatham.

As a result, Navanna DOXTATOR, a 37-year-old of Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·      Dangerous operation

·      Failure or refusal to comply with demand

·      Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 – in Canada

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on October 29, 2024.

Jagdeep SINGH Was Arrested

(SUDBURYON) – Police arrested and charged one person after conducting a stop with a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV)

On September 17, 2024, at approximately 9:00 a.m., the Nipissing West (Sudbury) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint involving a CMV travelling west on Highway 17, in the City of Greater Sudbury.

The CMV was reported to be traveling at various speeds and all over the roadway, placing other drivers at risk.

The vehicle was located, and a small amount of drug suspected to be methadone and cocaine was seized.

As a result of the investigation, Jagdeep SINGH, 26 years-of-age, from Lower Sackville, NS, was arrested and charged with:

  • Dangerous operation
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance – two counts
  • Falsify, mutilate or deface any record or document
  • Enter inaccurate information in record
  • Drive after 16 hours since last break without 8 hours off

 The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on October 16, 2024, in Sudbury.

Shaunnice WHITE Was Arrested

(WELLINGTON NORTH, ON) – On September 3, 2024, at approximately 3:15 p.m., members of Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attempted to stop the driver of a silver sedan on Peel Street, Mount Forest. The vehicle fled the area and was later involved in a fail to remain collision.  As a result of the investigation, and with assistance from the West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Canine Unit, Shaunnice WHITE, 27-years-old of Harriston, was charged with:

  • Dangerous Operation contrary to the Criminal Code
  • Flight from Peace Officer contrary to the Criminal Code
  • Failure to Stop after Accident contrary to the Criminal Code
  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code
  • Driving While Under Suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
  • Use Plate Not Authorized for Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
  • Operate Unsafe Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
  • Operate Motor Vehicle Without Insurance contrary to the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act

No injuries were reported in the incident.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice – Guelph, at a later date.

Husan HABASH Was Arrested

(LAMBTON SHORES, ON) – On August 31, 2024, at approximately 6:20 p.m., police received several reports from concerned members of the public regarding an individual operating a personal watercraft (PWC) on the shores of Lake Huron, Municipality of Lambton Shores. 

The Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with Anishinabek Police Service (APS) responded to the marine incident in the area of East Parkway Drive, Municipality of Lambton Shores. Police were able to locate the operator of the PWC.

As a result of the investigation, 48-year-old, Husan HABASH, of London was charged under the Criminal Code with the following offence:

·        Dangerous operation

The accused has been released from police custody and is schedule to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on October 28, 2024, in the City of Sarnia to speak to the charge.

The Lambton County OPP reminds all watercraft operators to adhere to water safety regulations and operate their vessels responsibly. Unsafe practices on the water not only endangers the operator but also poses significant risks to swimmers and other individuals enjoying the water.

Russell GEEN – Dangerous Operation

(TYENDINAGA TOWNSHIP, ON) – The Lennox and Addington (L&A) County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a driver with impaired driving related offences.

On July 29, 2024, just before 6:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to a single vehicle collision on Moneymore Road in Tyendinaga Township. Officers arrived on scene and spoke to the driver, who was subsequently arrested and transported to detachment for further testing.

No injuries were sustained.

As a result, Russell GEEN, age 61, of Tyendinaga Township was charged with:

  • Failure or refusal to comply with demand
  • Dangerous operation

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on August 20, 2024.

Trisha WESLEY Was Arrested

(Geraldton, ON) – The Greenstone Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a Hearst resident for impaired operation of a motor vehicle and drug offences.  

On July 19th, 2024, members of the Greenstone OPP detachment responded to a report of a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 11 in the Municipality of Greenstone. Through investigation, officers located suspected Fentanyl and it was determined the driver of the motor vehicle was impaired by drug. The driver was placed under arrest and transported back to the Greenstone OPP detachment for processing. 

As a result, Trisha WESLEY, 37-years-old, of Hearst has been charged under the Criminal Code and Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with:

·      Possession of a schedule 1 substance;

·      Dangerous Operation;

·      Operation While Impaired – Blood Drug Concentration; and,

·      Failure to comply with an Undertaking

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Geraldton on September 19th, 2024.

William SCHARF Was Arrested

(TAY VALLEY TOWNSHIP, ON) – An individual, wanted in connection with an incident in the Maberly area, is now in custody.

A disturbance was reported on July 9, 2024, at a location on Bennett Lake Road. A person indicated they were threatened, and a gun was seen.

As officers from the Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrived, they attempted to stop a vehicle fleeing the scene. The driver avoided numerous cruisers and a spike belt and left the area.

Lanark OPP has now arrested William SCHARF, age 50 of Drummond-North Elmsley, who is charged with:

  • Flight from a peace officer
  • Dangerous operation of a vehicle

The accused, who turned himself in to the OPP this morning, is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth today, Wednesday, July 17, 2024.

Thomas HALE, age 35 of Tay Valley Township, was arrested the day of the incident and charged with obstructing a peace officer. This accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on August 26, 2024.

The OPP believes this was a targeted incident and there was no risk to public safety.

The investigation is continuing.

Amanda DA COSTA GOMEZ Was Arrested

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Driver charged with refusal after a member of the public reports a possible impaired driver on Richmond Street.

On June 29, 2024, at 4:19 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a traffic complaint on Richmond Street in Middlesex Centre, for the report of a possible impaired driver.

The vehicle was located at which time a traffic stop was initiated.

It was determined the driver had previously consumed alcohol. An Approved Screening Device (ASD) was utilized at which time the driver refused. The driver was arrested and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, Amanda DA COSTA GOMEZ, a 44-year-old of Lucan Biddulph, has been charged under the Criminal Code and Cannabis Control Act with:

·      Failure or refusal to comply with demand

·      Dangerous operation

·      Drive vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on August 19, 2024.

Jakob MONFORTON Was Arrested

(LAMBTON SHORES, ON) – On Saturday June 15, 2024, at just after 9:00 p.m., a member of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attempted to stop a vehicle on Main Street, Grand Bend for a HTA violation. The vehicle failed to stop for police and immediately fled the area.  

A short time later, the same vehicle was reported to have been involved in a collision within the area of Greenway Road and Lakeshore Road. The vehicle failed to remain and was scene fleeing southbound on Lakeshore Road.  

Approximately two hours later, the suspected same vehicle passed an Essex OPP police vehicle on 401 Highway traveling at a speed estimated to be more than 200 km/h in a posted 100 km/h zone.

On Sunday June 16, 2024, the driver of the vehicle turned themselves into the Lambton County OPP.

Jakob MONFORTON, a 23-year-old from Windsor ON has been charged with:

  • Dangerous Operation (2 counts)
  • Drive Motor Vehicle – Perform Stunt (2 counts)
  • Flight from Peace Officer
  • Fail to Stop for Police
  • Fail to Report Accident
  • Fail to Remain
  • Fail to Report Damage to Property on Highway

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on August 6, 2024. The driver was further issued a 30-Day Drivers Licence Suspension and the motor vehicle has been impounded for a period of 14 days.
