Stolen Vehicle Recovered: Frederick Claire Doxtator-Ireland Arrested

LONDON, ON (January 22, 2025) – A London man is facing charges after police recovered a stolen vehicle yesterday morning.

On Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at approximately 7:45 a.m., a man parked a work vehicle outside an organization in the area of Commissioners Road East and Wellington Road. A short time later, he observed the truck leaving the lot, travelling westbound on Commissioners Road East.

Police were contacted and obtained video surveillance of the reported theft.

Through the course of the investigation, police learned that the stolen vehicle was parked on MacKay Avenue near Langarth Street West.

A number of officers, including members of Uniformed Division, the LPS Emergency Response Unit and Canine Unit, attended the area and located the vehicle. A short time later, a suspect male was located and arrested at a residence.

As a result of the investigation, Frederick Claire Doxtator-Ireland, 32, of London, has been charged with theft of a motor vehicle.

The accused is expected to appear in London court today in relation to the charges.
