(KAPUSKASING, ON) – An arrest was made after a rock was thrown through the window of the Kapuskasing Welcome Centre.
On June 3, 2024, shortly before 5:30 p.m., the James Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call reporting a person had thrown a rock through the window of a building on Millview Road in Kapuskasing.
Police located the suspect shortly after, and as a result of the investigation, Stephane LEFEBVRE, 34 years of age of Kapuskasing, was charged with the following:
- Mischief – destroys or damages property
- Casing a disturbance
- Fail to comply with probation order (two counts)
The accused was released and is to appear again before the Ontario Court of Justice on July 15, 2024 in Kapuskasing.
