Customer Beaten Unconscious By Drivers

On September 27, 2025 at 2:56pm, police were called to an address on White Circle in Sarnia for a dispute. 

Police arrived and spoke with the adult male victim.  He had agree to have two known individuals drive him to Corunna for a set amount of money.  When they returned, the two males demanded more money.  An argument ensued during which time one of the males struck the victim in the face causing him to lose consciousness.  Some time afterward, he awoke and called police. 

While on route, one of the responding officers observed a vehicle matching the victim’s description, with two males in the front seats.  A traffic stop was conducted and both males were identified as the same males who had assaulted the victim.  The driver of the vehicle was identified as Wilson MANESS and the passenger as Dakota BRESSETTE.

A search of the vehicle incident to arrest resulted in the discovery of two spring-assisted flick knives in the driver’s door. 

Dakota BRESSETTE (24 years) of Tashmoo Ave in Sarnia, was held for bail on charges of:

  • Assault
  • Fail to comply with probation

Wilson MANESS (29 years) of Tashmoo Ave in Sarnia, was held for bail on charges of:

  • Uttering threats
  • Unauthorized possession of a weapon X 2

Following their bail hearings, both men were released with conditions by the courts.
