(BRACEBRIDGE, ON) – Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one person after investigating the theft of charitable items.
On August 14th, 2024, at 7:15 a.m. Bracebridge OPP officers responded to a complaint from a local quick service restaurant that a man had stolen a quantity of items from a silent auction that they have been hosting to raise funds for charity. Officers conducted an investigation into the theft and have charged 34-year-old Clayton EISAN of Port Carling with the following offenses:
- Theft Under $5000 CC 334(b)
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime CC 354(1)(a) and
- Breach of Recognizance CC 811.
He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on September 17, 2024 to answer to his charges.
