(Kirkland Lake, ON) – One person has been arrested and charged following a disturbance in the Town of Kirkland Lake.
On April 7, 2024, members of Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a disturbance.
As a result of the investigation, Shawn PLAYFORD, 21-years-old, of Kirkland Lake was arrested and charged with:
· Assault with a weapon
· Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm
The accused person has been released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on May 2, 2024.
