Thann CHUDAUDON Was Arrested!

(RENFREW, ON) – The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged two people after responding to multiple impaired driving incidents this past week.

On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at approximately 11:10 p.m., Renfrew OPP officers were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E) occurrence in the Town of Arnprior.   

As a result of the R.I.D.E initiative, Thann CHUDAUDON age 45 of Arnprior was charged with:

–      Operation while impaired- alcohol

–      Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration (80 plus) 

The accused was released and scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on November 26, 2025.

On Saturday, October 18, 2025, at approximately 8:45 p.m., Renfrew OPP officers responded to a motor vehicle collision in McNab/Braeside Township. 

As a result of the investigation, Collin DESPRES age 42 of Arnprior was charged with:

–      Operation while impaired- alcohol

–      Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

–      Operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code  

The accused was released and scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on November 12, 2025.

On Sunday, October 19, 2025, at approximately 7:20 p.m., Renfrew OPP officers responded to a single motor vehicle collision in McNab/Braeside Township. 

As a result of the investigation, Emily BABCOCK age 29 of Horton Township was charged with:

–      Operation while impaired- alcohol

–      Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused was released and scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on November 19, 2025.

The individual’s driver’s licences have been suspended for 90 days, and their vehicle was impounded for seven days.

3 Impaired Drivers Arrested – Names Released

(RENFREW, ON) – The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged three people after responding to multiple impaired driving incidents this past week.

On Friday, October 10, 2025, at approximately 7:25 a.m., Renfrew OPP officers responded to a single motor vehicle collision in the Township of Whitewater.   

As a result of the investigation, Parker GARRON age 21 of Cobden was charged with:

·        Operation while impaired- alcohol

·        Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused was released and scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on November 5, 2025.

On Friday, October 10, 2025, at approximately 8:40 p.m., Renfrew OPP officers responded to a traffic complaint in the Township of Horton. 

As a result of the investigation, Jordan FALARDEAU age 25 of Greely was charged with:

·        Operation while impaired- alcohol

·        Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused was released and scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on November 12, 2025.

On Saturday, October 11, 2025, at approximately 9:05 a.m., Renfrew OPP officers responded to a traffic complaint in the Town of Arnprior. 

As a result of the investigation, Robert RICHARDS age 62 of Arnprior was charged with:

·        Operation while impaired- drug

·        Possession of a schedule 1 Substance-Cocaine

The accused was released and scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on November 19, 2025.

The individual’s driver’s license’s have been suspended for 90 days, and their vehicle was impounded for seven days.

Another Fatal Collision

(RENFREW, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a fatal collision on Burnstown Road in , which led to a temporary closure of the roadway in both directions between Calabogie Road and Fraser Road Road. The highway has since reopened.

On Saturday, October 4, 2025, at approximately 2:00 a.m., members of the Renfrew Detachment of the OPP responded to a serious single motor vehicle collision. The driver a 39-year-old male from Ottawa, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

OPP Technical Collision Investigators and Reconstructionist attended the scene, alongside emergency crews. The investigation remains ongoing.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage from the area at the time of the incident is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122. To remain anonymous, tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at ontariocrimestoppers.ca.

Meth Bust – Courtney CLOUTHIER Arrested

(RENFREW, ON) – The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one person after conducting a traffic stop on Highway (HWY) 132 in Admaston/Bromley Township.

On Friday, October 03, 2025, at approximately 1:10 a.m., a Renfrew OPP officer observed a vehicle swerving multiple times on HWY 132. The officer initiated a traffic stop on HWY 132 in Admaston/Bromley Township.  

As a result of the investigation, a passenger in the vehicle Courtney CLOUTHIER age 31 of Arnprior was charged with:

–      Possession of a schedule I substance- Methamphetamine

–      Possession of a schedule I substance- Cocaine

–      Traffic in Schedule I substance- Methamphetamine

–      Traffic in Schedule I substance- Cocaine

The accused was released and scheduled to attend the Pembroke Court of Justice on November 5, 2025.

Another Fatal Collision

(RENFREW, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a fatal collision on Highway 17 in Renfrew, which led to a temporary closure of the highway in both directions from Chenaux Road to Bruce Street. The highway has since reopened.

On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at approximately 12:45 p.m., members of the Renfrew Detachment of the OPP responded to a serious collision involving a car and a pickup truck. The driver and passenger of the car, a 54-year-old female and a 78-year-old female from Vals-Des-Monts, Quebec, were transported to hospital where they were pronounced deceased. No injuries were reported for the driver and sole occupant of the pickup truck.

OPP Technical Collision Investigators and Reconstructionist attended the scene, alongside emergency crews. The investigation remains ongoing.

Violent Robbery – Repeat Offender Arrested Again – Todd MEGRATH #3Strikes

(RENFREW, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has made a quick arrest after a robbery in Renfrew.

On Monday, September 29. 2025, at approximately 3:45 p.m., officers with the Renfrew Detachment responded to a reported robbery at a convenience store on O’Brien Street, near Eighth Street.

A male had entered the store, assaulted an employee and fled with stolen goods. The employee was not seriously hurt. The male then returned to the store just before officers arrived but again fled on foot.

Officers located the individual nearby and arrested him. They seized a knife and recovered the stolen property.

As a result of the investigation, Todd MEGRATH, age 46 of Horton Township, has been charged with:

  • Robbery with violence
  • Assault – two counts
  • Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm
  • Unauthorized possession of a weapon
  • Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order – seven counts
  • Failure to comply with an undertaking
  • Fail to comply with a probation order – two counts

The accused was held in custody and was scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke for a bail hearing on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.

Daniel CRABTREE Was Arrested #OPP #Crime

(RENFREW, ON) – The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one person after conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E) initiative.

On Thursday, September 18, 2025, at approximately 1:20 p.m., members of the Renfrew OPP detachment conducted a R.I.D.E initiative in the Township of Admaston/Bromley.

As a result of the initiative, Daniel CRABTREE age 42 of Renfrew was charged with:

–      Operation while prohibited 

The accused was released and scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on October 29, 2025.

Jason LINDEN Was Arrested #OPP #Crime

(RENFREW, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) has charged one person following a traffic stop in the Town of Renfrew.

On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at approximately 10:40 a.m., members of CSCU conducted a traffic stop in the Town of Renfrew.

As a result of the investigation, Jason LINDEN age 48 of Ottawa was charged with:

–      Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 

–      Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose

–      Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition

–      Possession of a schedule 1 substance-cocaine

–      Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order

The accused was held for a bail hearing.

Christopher HOUSTON – Theft, Mischief #OPP #Crime

(RENFREW, ON) – The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged two people after responding to a theft call in the Town of Arnprior.

On Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at approximately 10:30 a.m., members of the Renfrew OPP detachment responded to a theft call in the Town of Arnprior.

As a result of the investigation, Christopher HOUSTON age 31 of Arnprior and Mark SMITH age 51 of Renfrew have both been charged with:

–      Theft under $5000

–      Mischief- destroys or damages property 

The accused parties were released and scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on October 01, 2025.

Manhunt Over After Serious Sexual Assault

(RENFREW, ON) – An arrest has been made in a recent serious sexual assault in Renfrew.

On Thursday, August 28, 2025, a woman reported that she had been held against her will and sexually assaulted. The woman also indicated that the male, who was known to her, was in possession of a handgun.

The incident prompted a massive search of the area by members of the Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the OPP Emergency Response Team, the Canine Unit and the Tactics and Rescue Unit. A shelter in place was issued for the immediate area until officers determined that the male had fled.

On Tuesday, September 9, 2025, the 28-year-old male was located and arrested by Ottawa Police and was transported to the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke. There he was officially charged with:

  • Assault
  • Assault with a weapon
  • Sexual assault
  • Forcible confinement
  • Overcoming resistance by attempting to choke, suffocate or strangle
  • Pointing a firearm
  • Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm – two counts
  • Criminal harassment – threatening conduct
  • Intimidation
  • Intimidation – uses threats of violence
  • Mischief
  • Obstruct a peace officer
  • Fail to comply with a release order – two counts

The identity of the accused cannot be released in order to protect the identity of the victim.

The accused remains in custody, with a bail hearing scheduled to continue in Pembroke on September 26, 2025.

Samuel AUBIN Was Arrested Again

(RENFREW, ON) – The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one person after responding to information of a stolen vehicle in the detachment area.

On Friday, September 05, 2025, at approximately 9:20 a.m., Renfrew OPP officers received information of a stolen vehicle in the Renfrew Detachment area. Officers responded to the information and after extensively patrolling the area located the stolen vehicle in the Township of Greater Madawaska.

As a result of the investigation, Samuel AUBIN age 34 of St. Eustache, Quebec was charged with:

–      Possession property obtained by crime over $5000

–      Possession of a schedule 1 Substance

–      Fail to comply with probation order

The accused was held for a bail hearing.

(RENFREW, ON) – The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged three people with impaired driving after responding to calls for service in the past week.

On Friday, September 05, 2025, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Renfrew OPP officers responded to a call for service, in the Town of Arnprior. The subject was located, and officers investigated the call.

As a result of the investigation, Sophie BEDARD age 40 of Ottawa was charged with:

–      Operation while impaired- alcohol

–      Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

–      Failure or refusal to comply with demand

 The accused was released and scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on October 08, 2025.

On Friday, September 05, 2025, at approximately 10:15 p.m., Renfrew OPP officers responded to a traffic complaint, in the Town of Arnprior. The subject vehicle was located, and officers investigated the call.

  As a result of the investigation, Carter LEEDER age 19 of Petawawa was charged with:

–      Operation while impaired- alcohol

–      Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

 The accused was released and scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on October 08, 2025.

On Sunday, September 07, 2025, at approximately 10:20 p.m., Renfrew OPP officers responded to a police information call, in the Township of Greater Madawaska. The subject was located, and officers investigated the call.

  As a result of the investigation, Keith COUPAL age 33 of Renfrew was charged with:

–      Failure or refusal to comply with demand

 The accused was released and scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on October 15, 2025.

The individual’s driver’s licenses have been suspended for 90 days.
