Travis GRAHAM Was Arrested – Details Released

(Prince Edward County, ON) – Members of the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged an individual as a result of a traffic stop.

On January 31, 2025, at approximately 3:45 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on County Road 49.

As a result of the investigation, Travis GRAHAM, age 34 from Belleville, was arrested and charged with:

  • Failure or refusal to comply with demand
  • Speeding
  • Possession of unmarked cigarettes

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on February 19, 2025. They also had their driver’s license suspended for a period of 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days.

Gordon BROUGH – Drunk Driving

(PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY, ON) – A Tuesday late-night RIDE program by members of the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) resulted in one driver being arrested.

Officers were conducting a RIDE program on County Road 10 at County Road 22 at 3:00 a.m. on February 12, 2025. During the RIDE, officers conducted a test on one driver with the Approved Screening Device. As a result, the driver was arrested and transported to the detachment for further testing.

Gordon BROUGH, age 45 of Prince Edward County has been charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol
  • Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Drive commercial motor vehicle – no licence

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Picton on March 5, 2025. They also had their driver’s license suspended for a period of 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days.

George ENGLAND Was Arrested For Fraud & Weapon Possession

(PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY, ON) – Members of the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) remind everyone that you never have to pay to collect winnings from a legitimate lottery.

On January 27, 2025, officers began a fraud investigation after it was reported that an elderly person was potentially being duped into believing they had won the lottery.

As a result of the investigation, George ENGLAND, a 56-year-old of Sutton West, Ontario has been charged with:

  • Fraud over $5000
  • Possession of a weapon – two counts
  • Drive motor vehicle – no licence
  • Fail to have insurance card

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Prince Edward County on March 12, 2025.

Jennifer BABIN – Theft, Break & Enter, Etc.

(PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY, ON) – Members of the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested one person in connection with an early morning break and enter.

On January 15, 2025, officers were investigating an unrelated matter which led them to the discovery of a break and enter at a business on Wellington Main Street in Prince Edward County. An individual was located inside the business and subsequently arrested.

As a result of the investigation, Jennifer BABIN, age 41, from Prince Edward County was charged with:

  • Theft under $5000
  • Break and enter
  • Mischief
  • Possession of a Schedule 1 substance

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Prince Edward County on February 5, 2025.

Jordan COURTNEY – Drunk Driving

(Prince Edward County, ON) – Members of the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged an individual as a result of a traffic stop.

On January 12, 2025, at approximately 2:00 a.m., officers conducted a proactive traffic stop on County Road 8. Further investigation led to an Approved Screening Device being utilized, and the driver was arrested and transported to the detachment for further testing.

As a result of the investigation, Jordan COURTNEY, age 31 from Prince Edward County, was arrested and charged with:

· Operation while impaired – alcohol

· Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on February 12, 2025. They also had their driver’s license suspended for a period of 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days.

HUTTON – Impaired Operation

(Prince Edward County, ON) – A single-vehicle collision has resulted in impaired charges.

On January 5, 2025, at approximately 7:40 p.m., members of the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to County Road 5 at Elmbrook Road in Prince Edward County for a collision.

As a result of the investigation, Caleb HUTTON, age 35, from Prince Edward County, was charged with:

· Operation while impaired – alcohol

· Failure to comply with a breath demand

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on January 22, 2025. They also had their driver’s licence suspended for a period of 90 days and vehicle impounded for 7 days.

Kimberely STEWART – Drunk Driving

(Prince Edward County, ON) – A traffic complaint has resulted in impaired charges.

On December 21, 2024, at approximately 5:00 p.m., members of the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint on Highway 33 in Prince Edward County.

Officers located the vehicle and driver at the intersection of Highway 33 and County Road 3. The driver was treated for minor injuries.

As a result of the investigation, Kimberely STEWART, age 55, from Prince Edward County, was arrested and charged with:

· Operation while impaired – alcohol

· Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

· Dangerous Operation

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on January 8, 2025. They were also issued a 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.

CHIN – Impaired Driving

(Prince Edward County, ON) – A traffic complaint has resulted in impaired charges.

On December 14, 2024, at approximately 3:45 p.m., members of the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to County Road 3 in Prince Edward County when a suspected impaired driver was reported.

Officers located the vehicle and driver, with an Approved Screening Device being utilized. The driver was arrested and transported to the detachment for further testing.

As a result of the investigation, Rachel CHIN, age 29, from Belleville, was charged with:

· Operation while impaired – alcohol

· Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on January 8, 2025. They also had their driver’s license suspended for a period of 90 days and vehicle impounded for 7 days.

ELLIOT – Drunk Driving

(Prince Edward County, ON) – A single vehicle collision has resulted in a driver being charged with impaired operation.

On December 15, 2024, at approximately 4:15 a.m., members of the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a single vehicle collision on County Road 12 in Prince Edward County.

As a result of the investigation, Kevin ELLIOT, age 25, from Prince Edward County, was arrested and charged with:

Christopher O’BRIEN – Drunk Driving

(Prince Edward County, ON) – Proactive patrol has resulted in a driver being charged with impaired operation.

On December 5, 2024, at approximately 7:00 p.m., members of the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) initiated a traffic stop on Talbot Street in Prince Edward County. Further investigation led to an Approved Screening Device being utilized, and the driver was arrested and transported to the detachment for further testing.

As a result of the investigation, Christopher O’BRIEN, age 34 from Prince Edward County, was arrested and charged with:

· Operation while impaired – alcohol

· Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

· Fail to Signal

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on December 18, 2024. They also had their driver’s license suspended for a period of 90 days and vehicle impounded for 7 days.

Tristan PEACOCK – Impaired Driving

(Prince Edward County, ON) – Proactive foot patrol on Main Street in Wellington has resulted in impaired driving charges.

On November 23, 2024, at approximately 8:45 p.m., members of the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting foot patrol when they spotted a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed. A short time later, officers were able to make contact with the lone occupant of the vehicle. An Approved Screening Device was utilized, and the driver was arrested and transported to the detachment for further testing.

As a result of the investigation the driver, Tristan PEACOCK, age 27 from Prince Edward County, was arrested and charged with:

· Operation while impaired – alcohol

· Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

· Having care or control of a vehicle with open container of liquor

· Novice driver with blood alcohol content above zero

· Operation of a vehicle without insurance

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Picton on December 11, 2024.The accused’s licence is suspended for 90 days, and vehicle was impounded for seven day.

Andrew FROST Arrested Again

(PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY, ON) – On July 29 at approximately 11:00 pm members of the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a suspicious vehicle call for service on County Road 4 in Prince Edward County. As a result of the investigation, the driver was arrested and transported to the detachment for further testing.

Andrew FROST, age 46 of Deseronto has been charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Picton on August 21, 2024.

The accused’s licence is suspended for 90 days and vehicle was impounded for seven days.

Jeffrey DOUGLASS – Assault & Threats

(PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY, ON) – A disturbance at Base 31 has resulted in one person facing criminal charges.

Members of the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to the facility on Kingsley Road just before 7:30 p.m. on June 30, 2024. An individual had been restrained by private security staff.

The investigation found that an intoxicated male had attempted to walk away from the event at that location. Security team members, concerned for the individual’s safety, offered to call a taxi to ensure he could get home safely. The male became confrontational and assaultive and was restrained.

Jeffrey DOUGLASS, age 59 of Prince Edward County, has been charged with:

  • Assault
  • Assault with intent to resist arrest
  • Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Picton on July 24, 2024.

Samuel HOUSTON Was Arrested

(PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY, ON) – A report of a suspected impaired driver on Highway 62 in Prince Edward County has resulted in an arrest.

Members of the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded just after 7:30 p.m. on June 23, 2024. and located the vehicle on County Road 1.

The driver was arrested and transported to the detachment for testing by a Drug Recognition Evaluation Officer. A search of the car resulted in the seizure of Ketamine, amphetamine and GHB.

Samuel HOUSTON, age 28 of Montreal, has been charged under the Criminal Code and Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Possession of a Schedule 1 substance – three counts.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Picton on July 24, 2024.

The accused’s licence is suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.

Daniel VELA TORRES Was Arrested

(PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY, ON) – A weekend RIDE program near Sandbanks Provincial Park by resulted on one driver being arrested.

Members of the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a RIDE program on County Road 11, at Kleinsteuber Park Road, late Saturday afternoon, June 15, 2024.

During the RIDE, officers conducted a test on one driver with the Approved Screening Device. As a result, the driver was arrested and transported to the detachment for further testing.

Daniel VELA TORRES, age 60 of Vaughan, has been charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol
  • Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Picton on July 3, 2024.

The accused’s licence is suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
