Stolen Vehicle Recovered – 3 Arrested

 (INGERSOLL, ON) – Three individuals are facing charges after they were involved in a single-vehicle collision in the Town of Ingersoll.

At approximately 4:40 p.m., on January 30, 2026, members of the Oxford detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were notified of a single-vehicle collision, on King Street West, in the Town of Ingersoll.

With the assistance of Middlesex OPP and the OPP Canine Unit, all occupants from the vehicle were located.

The investigation revealed that the vehicle involved in the collision had been reported stolen out of Middlesex County in December 2025.

Terrel GLOVER, a 33-year-old resident of London, Troy LEDIET, a 46-year-old resident of London and Joshua MACDOUELL, a 39-year-old resident of Woodstock have all been charged with:

  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000

MACDOUELL was also charged with Break and Enter.

The accused individuals were held for a bail hearing and have since been released. They are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, in Woodstock, on March 3, 2026.

Franklin FRENCH Arrested For Drunk Driving Following Collision

(SARNIA, ON) – An individual is facing charges following a two-vehicle collision in the City of Sarnia.

On February 2, 2026, shortly after 5:00 p.m., members of Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a collision at the intersection of Modeland Road at Wellington Street in Sarnia, where one driver failed to remain at the scene.

There were no injuries reported.

As a result of the investigation, Franklin FRENCH, a 48-year-old of Chippewas of the Thames First Nation was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:

  • Operation while impaired- alcohol and drugs
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Failure to stop after accident

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused was release from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on March 16, 2026, in the City of Sarnia.

Alexander ARNOLD – Drunk Driving

 (NORWICH TOWNSHIP, ON) – A driver is facing multiple charges after members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Oxford Detachment, detected and arrested a dangerous driver on Highway 401.

At approximately 12:45 a.m., on January 28, 2026, a member of Oxford OPP detected a vehicle being driven dangerously in the eastbound lanes of Highway 401, in Norwich Township.

Multiple units were engaged to bring the vehicle to a safe stop.

As a result of the investigation, Alexander ARNOLD, a 24-year-old resident of Orangeville, has been charged with:

  • Operation While Impaired
  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) 80 plus
  • Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
  • Stunt Driving
  • Drive Vehicle with Cannabis Readily Available

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, in Woodstock, on March 10, 2026.

Brandon HOUSTON & Jackson WATT Were Arrested

(HUNTSVILLE, ON) – Officers of the Huntsville Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) are always looking for criminal driving behaviour. Two impaired drivers were taken of the roadway this week.

On Friday, January 30th, 2026, at approximately 10:31 p.m., officers of the Huntsville OPP Detachment, received a call for service for an intoxicated male attempting to leave a residence on Walker Lake Drive, Lake of Bays Township. Information received was that a male was intoxicated and threatening to leave the residence after a verbal argument ensued over political views with other at the location.

Officers located the vehicle travelling on Highway 60 and conducted a vehicle stop. Officers suspected the driver to have alcohol in his body and demanded the driver provide a breath sample into an approved screening device. The driver subsequently registered a fail.

As a result of the investigation, Brandon HOUSTON, 46 years old of Collingwood Ontario, has been charged with:

·        Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused was released from custody with a court date of February 24th, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge.

The accused was also issued a 90 Administrative Driver’s License Suspension and the vehicle was impounded for 7 days.

On Saturday January 31, 2026, Huntsville O.P.P. were on general patrol in the Town of Huntsville when they observed an orange Toyota pick-up truck travelling West Road. The vehicle caught officers attention as it swerved lane to lane, was being operated erratically and even hitting a snowbank along the roadway.

Upon stopping the vehicle, officers spoke with the driver and detected an odour of an alcoholic beverage on the driver’s breath. Officers formed a reasonable suspicion that the male was operating a conveyance after consuming alcohol and the driver subsequently registered a fail on the roadside approved screening device.

As a result of the investigation, police have charged Jackson WATT, 29 years old of Huntsville Ontario, with:

·        Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·        Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

The accused was released from custody with a court date of February 24th, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge Ontario.

The accused was also issued a 90 Administrative Driver’s License Suspension and the vehicle was impounded for 7 days.

THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR IMPAIRED DRIVING.

These events` could have easily been avoided had the drivers planned ahead before consuming alcohol or drugs. Don’t include alcohol or drugs in any plans to drive. Instead, arrange for a designated driver, take a taxi or public transit, or come up with another option that takes driving out of the picture altogether.

Noah SHERIDAN & Marvin MASSIE-AKEY Were Arrested

(DRYDEN, ON) – Two individuals have been arrested and charged following a drug trafficking investigation led by the Dryden Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with assistance from the OPP Northwest Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) and members from the Dryden OPP detachment.

On Thursday, January 29, 2026, members of the North West Region ERT conducted a traffic stop as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation. Two individuals were arrested and charged with multiple drug related offences.

The search and arrests resulted in the seizure of suspected fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, cell phones, Canadian currency, and other drug paraphernalia.

As a result of the investigation, Noah SHERIDAN, a 23-year-old male from Hamilton, is charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Criminal Code with:

  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl
  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine
  • Possession of prohibited device or ammunition for dangerous purpose
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000
  • Fail to comply with probation order

Marvin MASSIE-AKEY, a 22-year-old male from Hamilton, is charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Criminal Code with:

  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl
  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine
  • Possession of prohibited device or ammunition for dangerous purpose
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000

The accused individuals were remanded into custody following bail court and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Dryden at a later date.

William THOMAS & Robert SEARS Were Arrested

(HALDIMAND COUNTY) – Two individuals are facing charges following a traffic stop in Haldimand County.

On Friday January 30, 2026, at approximately 8:00 p.m., while on general patrol, officers conducted a traffic stop on King Street, Hagersville.

The investigation determined that there was a quantity of suspected illicit drugs within the vehicle and both occupants were taken into custody.

William THOMAS, 48-years-old of Ohsweken has been charged with the following offences:

  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (two counts)
  • Driving Motor Vehicle with Open Container of Liquor

Robert SEARS, 39-years-old of Hagersville has been charged with the following offences:

  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (two counts)
  • Passenger – Fail to Properly Wear Seatbelt

Both accused are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on March 17, 2026.

Colin KRAGTEN Was Arrested

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual has been charged following an impaired driving investigation in Simcoe.

On Friday, January 30, 2026, at approximately 7:24 p.m., members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Orchard Avenue in Simcoe.

Officers located the vehicle and, following an interaction with the driver, took the individual into custody without incident.

As a result, 38-year-old Colin KRAGTEN of Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs,
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

Brady SMITH – Drunk Driving

(BANCROFT, ON) – Members of the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one person with impaired operation.

On Saturday, January 31, 2026, just before 8:00 p.m., Bancroft OPP officers were conducting traffic patrol in the municipality of Hastings Highlands. Officers conducted a traffic stop, and an approved screening device was used. As a result, the driver was transported to the detachment for further testing.

Brady SMITH, a 43-year-old resident of Manvers Township, has been charged with the following:

–      Operation while impaired – alcohol

–      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused’s licence was suspended for 90 days and their vehicle impounded for seven days. The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on March 3, 2026.

(BANCROFT, ON) – The Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one person following a complaint of assault.

On Saturday, January 31, 2026, a member of the public attended the Bancroft OPP Detachment to report that an assault had occurred the previous day. After further investigation, one person was arrested.

As a result, John STURGES, 68, from Hastings Highlands has been charged with the following:

–      Assault

–      Mischief under $5,000 – two counts

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on March 3, 2026.

Bradley Dean COBB Was Arrested Again

(ELLIOT LAKE, ON) – On February 1, 2026, the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested a person during a traffic stop on Hillside Drive North.

At approximately 9:45 p.m. while on general patrol, police stopped a grey pickup truck after recognizing the driver and passenger. The passenger had a previous release condition to not be with the driver and he was subsequently arrested.

Bradley Dean COBB, 43-years-old, of Elliot Lake, was charged with:

  • Fail to comply with Probation Order

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice Bail Court in Blind River on February 2, 2026.

Jatinder SANDHU, Tejvinder Singh & Anahat VIRK Were Arrested

(CALEDON, ON) – Officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged three individuals with operation while impaired offences within five hours.

On January 28, 2026, at approximately 8:30 p.m., Caledon OPP officers responded to a call for service involving a possibly impaired driver. Shortly after, officers located the vehicle on Mayfield Road, near Hurontario Street, in the Town of Caledon. Investigating officers conducted a traffic stop upon the vehicle and formed grounds that the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol.

Following the investigation, Jatinder SANDHU, 53, of Caledon, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The following day, on January 29, 2026, at approximately 1:15 a.m., while on general patrol, Caledon OPP officers observed a vehicle displaying poor driving behaviour on Mayfield Road, near Airport Road, in the Town of Caledon. Officers conducted a traffic stop upon the vehicle and formed grounds that the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol.

As a result of the investigation, Tejvinder Singh, 25, of Tottenham, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

Just minutes later, at approximately 1:20 a.m., while on general patrol, Caledon OPP officers observed a vehicle stopped on the roadway in the area of Innis Lake Road and Castlederg Sideroad, in the Town of Caledon. Investigating officers conducted a traffic stop upon the vehicle and formed grounds that the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol.

As a result, Anahat VIRK, 24, of Caledon, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Having care or control of a motor vehicle with open container of liquor

All accused parties are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville in March 2026 to answer to their charges. The involved vehicles were also impounded for a period of seven days, and their driver’s licences were suspended for a period of 90 days.

Drivers continue to take chances. It’s simply not worth the risk. Motorists are reminded that no amount of alcohol or drugs in your system is safe when driving. If you plan on drinking or consuming drugs, plan to not drive. Instead, arrange for a designated driver, take a taxi or public transit, or come up with another plan that takes impaired driving out of the picture. If you suspect that someone is driving while impaired by alcohol or drugs, it is important to call 9-1-1 to report it.

Joseph Godin, Peter Soja & Jean-Paul Gaudreau Were Arrested

(CLARENCE-ROCKLAND, RUSSELL TWP & THE NATION, ON) – Members of the Russell County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested three people for impaired driving charges.

On Friday, January 23, at approximately 5:20 p.m., officers received a call for a collision in the parking lot of a local business. Upon arrival on scene officers observed that a pick-up truck had collided with numerous vehicles in the lot. During the investigation, the driver was arrested for impaired operation and brought back to detachment for further testing.

As a result of the investigation, 74-year-old, Joseph Godin, of Clarence-Rockland, Ontario, was charged under the Criminal Code (CC) with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol CC
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The motorist received a 90-day driver’s licence suspension, and their vehicle was impounded for seven days.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in L’Orignal on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.

On Saturday, January 24, at 10:10 p.m., officers on patrol conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. During the investigation, an Approved Screening Device (ASD). The driver failed the test and was brought back to detachment for further testing.

As a result of the investigation, 39-year-old, Peter Soja, of Russell Twp, Ontario was charged under the Criminal Code (CC) with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol CC
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The motorist received a 90-day driver’s licence suspension, and their vehicle was impounded for seven days.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in L’Orignal on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.

Lastly, on Sunday, February 1, at approximately 03:15 a.m., officers responded to a report of a collision involving a snowmobile on an OFSC trail in The Nation Twp.

Officers attended the scene and during the investigation the driver was arrested for Impaired operation back to detachment for further testing.

As a result of the investigation, 46-year-old, Jean-Paul Gaudreau, of Clarence-Rockland, Ontario was charged under the Criminal Code (CC) with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol CC
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

They received a 90-day driver’s licence suspension, and the snowmobile was impounded for seven days.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in L’Orignal on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.

Rebecca BALM Arrested Following Incident In Mount Forest

(WELLINGTON NORTH TOWNSHIP, ON) – An individual has been charged following an incident in Mount Forest.

On January 31, 2026, at approximately 3:00 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of an altercation at an address in Mount Forest.

As a result of the investigation, Rebecca BALM, a 34-year-old from Mount Forest, is charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm
  • Failure to comply with Undertaking

While in police custody, the accused acquired further Criminal Code charges:

  • Attempt obstruct justice
  • Mischief – destroys or damages property

The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing and later released to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph on a later date.

Anthony STEFAN – Drunk Driving

(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – An Oakville driver has been charged following a collision.

On January 30, 2026, at approximately 8:45 a.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 6 and Wellington Road 22, outside of Fergus.

As a result of the investigation, Anthony STEFAN, a 37-year-old from Oakville, is charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Dangerous operation

No injuries were sustained as a result of this collision.

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a 7-day vehicle impoundment were initiated as per statute.

The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing and has since been remanded to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph on a future date.

Andre PEPIN – Drunk Driving

(ESSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – The Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one individual with impaired driving following a complaint of a possible impaired driver.

On January 31, 2026, shortly before 6:00 p.m., officers responded to a report of a possible impaired driver who had driven into a residential yard on County Road 90 in Essa Township. Officers located the involved vehicle and the driver, and an impaired driving investigation was subsequently conducted.

As a result, the driver, Andre PEPIN, a 68-year-old resident of Barrie, was arrested and charged with:

  • Operation While Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs
  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)

The accused was released on a Form 10 Undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bradford on March 12, 2026. Their driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
