Two Teenagers Sent To Hospital

Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Traffic Services Unit is investigating a serious motor vehicle collision that occurred in the Township of Wellesley.

On September 24, 2025, at approximately 8 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision involving a Ford motor vehicle and a horse-drawn carriage on Manser Road.

The driver of the Ford, a 20-year-old male from Millbank, sustained minor injuries and was assessed at the scene by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services.

The occupants of the horse-drawn carriage, a 16-year-old male and a 19-year-old male, sustained serious injuries and were transported to a local hospital by paramedics.

The investigation remains ongoing, and charges are anticipated.

Overnight Shooting at a Business in Pickering

Police are seeking information after an overnight shooting at a business in Pickering.

On Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at approximately 2:20 a.m., members of West Division responded to a shooting on Notion Road, at a towing business. An employee was in the parking lot when a black coloured sedan pulled up and a male exited the vehicle, firing several shots toward the business. The suspect fled the area prior to police arrival.

Officers arrived on scene and located numerous shell casings.

No physical injuries have been reported to police.

Investigators believe this incident to be an isolated incident.

Gunfire Damages Home, Vehicle in London’s South End

LONDON, ON (September 25, 2025) – The London Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance after members of the LPS Uniformed Division responded to a shooting in the south end of the city early Tuesday morning.

The incident was reported at approximately 8 a.m. on September 23, 2025. Upon arrival, officers found gunshot-related damage at a residence in the 6000-block of Crown Grant Road.

Through the course of the investigation, with the assistance of surveillance video, officers learned that at approximately 3 a.m., suspect(s) parked a vehicle on Pack Road and at least one suspect exited the vehicle and approached a residence on Crown Grant Road on foot.

Multiple rounds were fired into the residence, with a vehicle and garage door sustaining damage.

There were no reported injuries and police believe this was a targeted shooting.

The suspect vehicle is described as a dark-coloured sedan.

The investigation has been reassigned to the LPS Major Crime Section.

Violent incidents, particularly those involving firearms, pose serious safety concerns to the individuals directly involved and threaten feelings of safety and wellbeing throughout the wider community. The London Police Service will continue to employ intelligence-based enforcement and crime prevention strategies to enhance public safety, while prioritising the investigation of gun violence to ensure those responsible for it are held to account. 

Investigators are appealing to anyone who may have information in relation to this incident, or who may have been in the area of Crown Grant Road and Pack Road between 2:50 a.m. – 3:15 a.m., on September 23, 2025, and have dash-cam, residential or business surveillance video, to please contact the London Police Service.

The investigation is in its early stages, and more information will be provided as appropriate.

Three Suspects Held on Firearms-Related Offences Following OPP Stop in Oshawa

(OSHAWA, ON) – Three individuals are facing firearms-related charges following a traffic stop in Oshawa. On Friday, September 19, 2025, at approximately 6:00 p.m., officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Highway Safety Division (HSD) Highway 407 and Toronto Detachments conducted a traffic stop on Highway 407 near Harmony Road in Oshawa, Ontario.

As a result of the traffic stop, Inderjeet GOSAL, 36 years old, from Caledon, Jagdeep SINGH, 41 years old, from Pickville, New York, USA, and Arman SINGH, 23 years old, from Toronto, were arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

·      Careless use of a firearm

·      Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose

·      Carrying concealed weapon

·      Unauthorized possession of a firearm – two counts

·      Knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm

·      Knowledge of unauthorized possession of a weapon

·      Possession of prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition

·      Breach of firearms regulation (transport firearm or restricted weapon)

·      Occupant of motor vehicle knowing there was a firearm

·      Possession of a firearm, prohibited or restricted weapon obtained by crime

The accused appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Oshawa on Monday, September 22, 2025.

This incident is part of an ongoing investigation. As a result, no further information will be released at this time.

Christopher WASCH Was Arrested

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual is facing drug-related charges following a traffic stop near Simcoe.

On Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at approximately 2:09 a.m., a Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer conducted a traffic stop and investigation on McDowell Road East, just outside of Simcoe.

During the interaction with the driver, cannabis was observed inside the vehicle. This led to a search of the vehicle, where the officer discovered and seized suspected cocaine.

As a result, 28-year-old Christopher WASCH of Norfolk County was arrested and charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Have care or control of vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available,
  • Possess unmarked cigarettes,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine,
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000 – in Canada.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.

Jimmy FELTON Arrested Again #3Strikes

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual is facing multiple charges following a threats-related incident in Simcoe.

On Monday, September 22, 2025, at approximately 6:34 p.m., members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of threats on Robinson Street in Simcoe.

The investigation determined that a group of individuals had been involved in an interaction during which one person made threats of harm while in possession of an edged weapon.

Officers located the suspect nearby and took them into custody without incident.

As a result, 32-year-old Jimmy FELTON of Norfolk County was charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Possession of weapon for a dangerous purpose,
  • Disobeying order of court,
  • Fail to comply with Probation Order,
  • Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm – three counts.

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

OPP Seize Fentanyl, Cocaine, Hydromorphone in Kawartha Lakes Investigation

(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – Beginning in May 2025, members of the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) entered into a CDSA investigation into a male believed to be trafficking drugs into the City of Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton Highlands areas. 

In September 2025, s.11 CDSA search warrants were authorized for the accused’s residence. On September 22, 2025, the search warrants were executed and as a result, the following items were seized:

·        79.5 8mg Hydromorphone pills

·        53g suspected cocaine

·        312.3g suspected fentanyl

·        $2710 CAD cash

·        $13 USD cash

·        Two digital scales

·        Two cellphones

·        Dimebags

·        1 40cal S&W bullet with “Hailey” written on it

·        Replica 12g Shotgun

Caleb JOHNSTON 27 year-old of Courtice was held for a show cause hearing and charged with:

·        CDSA 5(2) – Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine

·        CDSA 5(2) -Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Fentanyl

·        CDSA 5(2) -Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Hydromorphone

·        CC 354(1)(a) -Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000

·        CC 145(4)(a) – Failure to comply with Undertaking

·        CC 117.01(1) – Possess Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order

Listowel: OPP, Stratford Police Arrest 22 Year Old Linked to Property Crimes Across Six Regions

(PERTH, ON) – Police have arrested one individual following multiple property crimes in Perth, Huron, Wellington, Oxford, Stratford, and Waterloo Region.

Throughout the month of September 2025, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Stratford Police Service investigated several property crimes.

On September 23, 2025, members of the Perth County OPP along with the Community Street Crime Unit, located a stolen vehicle, in the town of Listowel, North Perth. The driver attempted to flee on foot however they were taken into custody without incident.

As a result, police charged 22-year-old, Tyler STANLEY, of West Perth with the following Criminal Code offences:

  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 (Three Counts)
  • Theft Over $5,000 (Two Counts)
  • Operation while Prohibited
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order

The accused has been held in custody following an appearance before the Ontario Court of Justice, located in Stratford on September 24, 2025. Additionally, Stratford Police Service has charged the accused with multiple offences in relation to incidents that occurred in their jurisdiction.

Victim Scammed Out Of $150,000 Tractor

(SOUTH BRUCE, ON) – On September 15, 2025, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a fraud involving the sale of a tractor from an address along Concession 2 in the Municipality of South Bruce.

The victim made arrangements for the sale of the tractor, only to discover that after it was transported from the location, that the method of transaction was fraudulent. The tractor was observed being removed by a white transport truck with a flatbed trailer.

Police are searching for the following:

  • 2017 Fendt 714 Vario with 5×85 front-end loader attached – green & red in colour – serial # 738222694

Bayfield Assault – Evan SMITH Arrested

(BLUEWATER, ON) – The Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual following an incident on Long Hill Road in the Municipality of Bluewater on September 18th, 2025. 

On Thursday, September 18th, 2025, Huron OPP officers were contacted by the complainant, who was reportedly assaulted by another person in Bayfield earlier that same day. Police subsequently located and arrested the suspect on September 19th.

Evan SMITH, 31-years-of-age from Central Huron has been charged with the following offence:

–      Assault Causing Bodily Harm.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on October 27th, 2025.

OPP Investigating After Aircraft Sabotaged – $100K Damage

(FOLEYET, ON) – On Thursday, September 4, 2025, the Superior East Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of mischief on Maple Street in Foleyet.

Preliminary investigation revealed that between 6:00 p.m. on September 3, and 7:30 a.m. on September 4, a helicopter parked overnight at a property on Maple Street was vandalized. The aircraft sustained significant damage, including a broken windshield and extensive damage to the tail rotor. The estimated cost of the damage is approximately $100,000. As a result, the helicopter has been rendered inoperable and required transport out of province for repairs.

The OPP is continuing to investigate and is appealing to the public for assistance. Anyone with information regarding this incident should immediately contact the Superior East OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

Telecom Wire Theft Threatens Emergency Services; OPP Urges “Vigilance” – Gordon KOSTAL Arrested

(WELLINGTON NORTH TWP, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) have arrested one individual in relation to theft of telecommunication wires.

On September 18, 2025, at approximately 7:00 p.m., the Wellington County OPP received a report a telecommunication wires being cut at a local business on Egremont Street within Mount Forest, and the wires were positioned to be stolen later that night.

The Wellington CSCU responded and as a result of the investigation, the suspect was located and arrested within the early morning hours of September 19, 2025.

Gordon KOSTAL, a 44-year-old of Mount Forest is charged under the Criminal Code with: Theft under $5000.

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Theft and damage to telecommunication lines are more than just property crimes, they can have serious public safety consequences. These lines support critical services like 911 emergency access, medical alert systems, and internet and phone connectivity. When they’re compromised, entire communities can lose access to emergency help and essential communication, putting lives at risk and disrupting daily life.

Telecommunication wires are often targeted for their copper content, which is commonly resold at scrap yards, making them a target for theft.

The Wellington County OPP urges the public to report any suspicious activity near telecom infrastructure to help protect these vital services.

(QUINTE WEST, ON) – The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges in an impaired driving investigation.

On Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at approximately 3:45 p.m., a traffic complaint on Quinte Street, led Quinte West OPP to suspect a motorist may have been impaired.

The driver was arrested and transported to the Quinte West Detachment, where charges were laid.

Steven BROWN , age 65, from Quinte West, was charged with the following offence:

  • Failure or refusal to comply with demand

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on November 6, 2025. Additionally, the vehicle was impounded for seven days, and their licence suspended for 90 days.

(SOUTH HURON, ON) – On September 16th, 2025, members of the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a matter involving intimate partners in the Municipality of South Huron.

As a result of the investigation, OPP learned that the involved suspect had allegedly committed criminal acts against their partner.

A 23-year-old individual from South Huron has been arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:

–      Assault – Spousal – (two counts),

–      Forcible Confinement,

–      Uttering Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm,

–      Mischief to Property – Domestic,

–      Fail to Comply with Probation Order.

The accused was processed, held for a bail hearing, and later released from custody with a court date scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on October 20th, 2025.

16 Year Old Follows Ambery Road Into Lake Huron #OPP #Joyride

(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH TWP, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a youth from Wellington North, Arthur following a single motor vehicle collision on September 14, 2025, in the Township of ACW. 

At 11:55 p.m., on Sunday, September 14, 2025, Huron County OPP received a report of a collision involving an automobile that left the west end of Amberley Road and entered Lake Huron.

Huron County OPP attended the scene and discovered that the involved 4-door sedan had left the roadway, rolled, and landed on the roof in the water approximately ten meters from shore. The two occupants had exited the vehicle uninjured.

A 16-year-old youth from Wellington North, Arthur has been charged with:

–      Dangerous Operation.

The identity of the accused is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Youth Court of Justice – Goderich on November 13th, 2025.
