20 Year Old Arrested – Details Released

(SOUTHGATE, ON) – One person has been charged following a traffic complaint in the Township of Southgate.

On May 4, 2025, at approximately 1:17 a.m., members of the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint on Victoria Street in the Township of Dundalk.

Robert KEYS, 20-years-old, of Priceville, has been charged with:

  • Operation while Impaired – Alcohol
  • Operation while Impaired – 80 plus

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on May 29, 2025

22 Year Old Arrested For Drunk Driving

(GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On May 4, 2025, at approximately 9:40 p.m., officers from the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were on patrol in Grey Bruce.

During the patrol, officers conducted a traffic stop on Thom Drive in Georgian Bluffs. As a result of the stop, the driver was arrested for impaired operation and subsequently brought to the OPP detachment for further testing.

Tyler RUDOLPH, 22-years-old, of Owen Sound, has been charged with:

  • Operation while Impaired – Alcohol
  • Operation while Impaired – 80 plus

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on July 3, 2025

More Repeat Offenders Arrested #3Strikes

(NEW TECUMSETH, ON) – Officers from the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged two individuals following a bail compliance investigation in the Town of New Tecumseth.

Back in February 2024 , the Nottawasaga Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) entered into an investigation when two brothers were found to be breaching several conditions on their court ordered release orders.

As a result of this investigation, on April 24 2025, the Nottawasaga OPP CRU with the assistance of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a search warrant on a residence on King Street North in Alliston.

One individual was located in the home and arrested on scene while one individual was outstanding. Several items were seized such as scales, cellphones, knives, a replica fire arm, and a loaded shotgun with ammunition.

As a result of this investigation, Kody BERDAN, 36-years-old, of New Tecumseth, was arrested and charged with:

  • Failure to comply with release order – Five Counts
  • Possession of Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Careless storage of a Firearm -Two Counts
  • Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition, contrary to Prohibition Order -Two Counts
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm -Two Counts

On May 1 2025 the Nottawasaga CRU unit with the assistance of ERT, the Tactical Response Unit (TRU), and K9 were able to locate and arrest Darryl BERDAN, 40-years-old, of New Tecumseth, and charge with the following:

  • Failure to comply with release order – Four counts
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order – Ten Counts
  • Possession of Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine -Two Counts
  • Careless storage of a Firearm – Two Counts
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm – Two Counts
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon
  • Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition, contrary to Prohibition Order – Three Counts
  • Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000.00

The accused parties were both held for a bail hearing and are to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.

Kevin Richmond – Drunk Driving

(BECKWITH TWP, ON) – The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Drummond-North Elmsley resident with impaired driving.

Officers responded to a single vehicle collision on Tenth line Beckwith, Beckwith Township on Friday, May 3, 2025, just after 3:30 a.m.

The officer, while conducting a traffic investigation, arrested the driver and transported the individual to the Carleton Place Detachment for testing.

As a result of the investigation, Kevin Richmond, age 47, has been charged with

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Operation while impaired – Alcohol
  • Dangerous operation

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on June 2, 2025.

The individual’s driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days (Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension), and the vehicle has been impounded for seven days.

One Dead – One Charged With Assault

(LOYALIST TOWNSHIP, ON) – The Lennox and Addington (L&A) County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has confirmed that a death in the Odessa area of Loyalist Township did not involve foul play.

On Wednesday, April 30, 2025, officers were called to a residence on Potter Drive where a 30-year-old woman had been found deceased. A postmortem examination found no indication of foul play.

One person was arrested May 2, 2025, in Napanee in relation to injuries the deceased had suffered in prior incidents. The deceased’s vehicle has also been recovered. 

Kyle ST. LOUIS, age 32 of North Bay, has been charged with:

  • Assault
  • Assault with a weapon

The accused, who also has outstanding arrest warrants in another jurisdiction, was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear for a virtual bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Napanee on May 5, 2025.

Fatal Collision

(RENFREW, ON) – The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a fatal collision in Calabogie over the weekend.

On Sunday, May 4, 2025, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Renfrew OPP received a report of a single vehicle collision on a racetrack in Calabogie.

Renfrew OPP and the County of Renfrew Paramedic Service attended the scene. The driver, and single occupant of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at scene.

The coroner attended the scene, and a post-mortem examination will be conducted.

No foul play suspected. The investigation is ongoing.

Drug Bust – SINGH, SINGH & SINGH

(SOUTH DUNDAS, ON) The Stormont Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged three individuals with possession of illegal drugs.  

On April 30, 2025, shortly before 10:00 p.m., OPP officers had a stopped vehicle at a RIDE checkpoint at the 401 highway On Route in the South Dundas township. The investigation led to the seizure of suspected cocaine and heroin.

Jasanprit, SINGH, 26 years old of Etobicoke, was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance
  • Drive motor vehicle – no licence

Bhupinder, SINGH, 29 years old of Brampton, was charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance – two counts
  • Obstruct peace officer
  • Passenger – fail to properly wear seat belt

Harmanjeet, SINGH, 25 years old of Hamilton, was arrested and charged with possession of a Schedule I substance.

All accused were released and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall at a later date.

Alexander HARRIS – Drunk Driving

(HUNTSVILLE, ON) – On May 4, 2025 at 8:47p.m. officers of the Huntsville O.P.P. were conducting a R.I.D.E. checkpoint on Earls Road, looking for impaired drivers. A vehicle approached the officers and the odour of alcohol was clearly detected.

The driver was required to provide a sample into an Approved Screening Device. The driver registered a fail and was arrested and required to complete further breath testing.

As a result of the investigation, Alexander HARRIS, 36 years old of Huntsville Ontario, has been charged with:

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on June 3, 2025.

The accused was issued a 90 Administrative Driver’s License Suspension and his vehicle has been impounded for 7 days.

THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR IMPAIRED DRIVING.

This event could have easily been avoided had the driver planned ahead before consuming alcohol or drugs. Don’t include alcohol or drugs in any plans to drive. Instead, arrange for a designated driver, take a taxi or public transit, or come up with another option that takes driving out of the picture altogether.

Hit & Run – Sheldon MCLEISH Charged

(NORTH PERTH, ON) – Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an individual after fleeing the scene of a motor vehicle collision in the Municipality of North Perth.

On May 2, 2025, police responded to a call for a motor vehicle that collided with two vehicles in the town of Gowanstown. One of the drivers sustained non-life threatening injuries, the other driver was uninjured.

Police located and charged 32-year-old Sheldon MCLEISH of Dundalk, ON the following Criminal Code of Canada offences:

  • Dangerous Operation
  • Failure to Stop After Accident

The accused was released from custody and schedule for his first appearance on June 6, 2025 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford.

Temitope ALLI Facing Drunk Driving Charge

(CENTRE WELLINGTON TWP, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charge a Fergus resident criminally, stemming from a RIDE program.

On May 4, 2025, at approximately 5:45 p.m., members of the Wellington County OPP were conducting a proactive ‘Reduced Impaired Driving Everywhere” (RIDE) program on Scotland Street within the Town of Fergus, when they initiated a traffic stop on a motor vehicle to determine sobriety.

As a result of the investigation, Temitope ALLI, a 39-year-old of Fergus is charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused has since been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Guelph on May 13, 2025.

OPP Invoke Silence & SIU Mandate #FilmThePolice #FTP

 (INGERSOLL, ON) – The Special Investigations Unit (SIU) has invoked its mandate in relation to an incident that took place in Ingersoll, Ontario.

 On Sunday, May 4, 2025, shortly before 3:30 a.m., members of the Oxford detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attempted to initiate a traffic stop in the westbound lane of Highway 401. The driver failed to stop for police and fled the scene.

 A short time later, police received a report of a single vehicle collision on Canterbury Street in Ingersoll.

 The driver was extricated from the vehicle and transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

 Oxford Fire Services of Ingersoll and Oxford Paramedic Services attended to assist.

 The OPP has notified the SIU, which has invoked its mandate. As a result, the OPP will not be able to provide further information. Any other inquiries should be directed to [email protected].

Tyler PARR Was Arrested

(Godfrey, ON) – A traffic complaint about an ATV (all terrain vehicle) driver, leaving a residence, has resulted in impaired driving charges.  

Frontenac OPP responded to a traffic complaint from a citizen just after 11:30 pm on May 02, 2025. Officers were advised that a suspected impaired driver had left a residence driving a three-wheel ATV along Westport Road, near McNicols Lane in Godfrey.

An officer conducted a traffic stop of the ATV, a short time later, and detected alcohol coming from the driver. A roadside test was conducted with an approved screening device (ASD). The driver was arrested and taken back to detachment for further breath testing.

Tyler PARR, a 27-year-old male from Godfrey, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs.
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).

The accused was released from custody and is to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kingston on May 27, 2025. They also had their drivers licence suspended for 90 days, and vehicle impounded for a period of 7 days.

Mark CLAPHAM – Drunk Driving

(NEW TECUMSETH, ON)- Members of the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one individual with impaired driving following a ride spot check in Tottenham

On May 4, 2025, shortly after 1:00 a.m., Nottawasaga OPP were conducting a ride spot check in the area of Mill Street East, in the Town of New Tecumseth. Officers were met with a driver and during the interaction, grounds were formed that the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol, leading to the driver’s arrest. 

As a result of the investigation, Mark CLAPHAM 59-years-old of New Tecumseth was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Operation while impaired – alcohol

The accused is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Bradford on May 29, 2025, to answer to the charge. The driver’s licence was also suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle impounded for seven.

2 Arrested In Drug Bust

(Alliston, ON) – Officers from the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged two individuals following a drug trafficking investigation.

In the Fall of 2024, the Nottawasaga OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) entered into a drug trafficking investigation. Between April 30, 2025, and May 1, 2025, search warrants were executed in Barrie, Orangeville, Brampton, Churchill, and Niagara Falls. Units that assisted with the searches and the arrests that followed include the Provincial ROPE Unit, the Central Region Emergency Response Team, Central Region Canine, and CSCU’s from Huronia West/Collingwood, Orillia, and Dufferin. Over 2000 grams of cocaine and more than 100 grams of fentanyl valued in excess of $192,000 were part of the property seized.

As a result of the investigation, Spencer WONG, 37, of Orangeville, was charged with:

• Traffick in Schedule I substance – Cocaine

• Traffick in Schedule I substance – Fentanyl

• Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine

• Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Fentanyl

• Failure to comply with release order

Danielle MARSHALL, 32, of Barrie, was also charged with:

• Traffick in Schedule I substance – Cocaine

• Traffick in Schedule I substance – Fentanyl

• Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine

• Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Fentanyl

Both accused were held for a Bail Court at the Ontario Court of Justice in Barrie.

Assault & Trafficking – Evan SARAZIN

(ELGIN, ON) – Members of the Leeds County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a serious head-on collision on Highway 15 which sent both drivers to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The investigation is still ongoing, and numerous charges have been laid against one of the passengers.

On Friday, May 2, 2025, at noon, multiple reports of a two-vehicle head-on collision on Highway 15 near the village of Elgin were received. Members of Leeds OPP attended the scene of the crash and determined an initial vehicle had two adult occupants, whereas the other vehicle had two adult occupants and one infant. With the assistance of the Rideau Lakes Fire Department and Leeds and Grenville Paramedic Services, the two drivers were transported to a regional trauma centre for reported life-threatening injuries. Fortunately, all three passengers did not sustain any substantial injuries.

The Leeds County OPP Crime Unit, OPP Reconstructionists, and OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators are currently assisting with the investigation.

Both drivers are in critical but stable condition and remain in hospital.

The passenger of the initial vehicle refused to provide their identity following a legal demand. During a vehicle search, members of Leeds OPP located a knife, approximately eight grams of suspected cocaine, and other items often related to drugs.

As a result of the investigation, 39 year-old Evan SARAZIN of Ottawa is charged with:

  • Obstruct peace officer
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
  • Assault

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville on June 13, 2025.

The investigation is ongoing, and driving-related charges are pending for the driver of the initial vehicle as a result of the collision.
