Marcus WEILER – Drunk Driving

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Driver facing Impaired driving charge after traffic stop.

On December 14, 2024, at 1:16 a.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), while on general patrol on Richmond Street in Middlesex Centre, performed a traffic stop on a vehicle.

The driver was arrested and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, Marcus WEILER, a 48-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act and Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act with:

·      Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·      Speeding 1 – 49 Km/h over posted limit

·      Drive motor vehicle – no licence

·      Novice driver – B.A.C. above zero

·      Fail to have insurance card

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on February 6, 2025.

Warrant Exectuted – Jad KARAM Arrested

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Individual charged after search warrant executed at an address in Middlesex Centre.

On December 12, 2024, members of the Elgin-Middlesex Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), the Norfolk County OPP CSCU, OPP Canine, OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU), executed a search warrant at a residence on Westdel Bourne in Middlesex Centre.

CSCU members recovered a stolen camper trailer, previously reported stolen out of Elgin County.

The trailer was returned to the owner.

Jad KARAM, a 46-year-old of Middlesex Centre, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 – in Canada

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on January 23, 2025.

Timur ABDULLAH – Drunk Driving

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Driver charged with Impaired after vehicle leaves Highway 402 and enters ditch.

On December 7, 2024, at 9:40 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to Highway 402 Westbound in Middlesex Centre, for the report of a vehicle that left the highway and entered the ditch.

The driver was arrested and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, Timur ABDULLAH, a 32-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on February 10, 2025.

Foster LUND – Drunk Driving

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Driver facing Impaired driving charge after traffic stop.

On November 21, 2024, at 1:10 a.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), while on general patrol on Carriage Road in Middlesex Centre, performed a traffic stop on a vehicle.

The driver was arrested and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, Foster LUND, a 21-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

Alexandra COPELAND – Impaired Driving

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Driver facing Impaired driving charge after failing roadside demand.

On October 26, 2024, at 2:33 a.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), while on general patrol on Richmond Street, in Middlesex Centre performed a traffic stop on a vehicle travelling through Arva at nearly double the posted 60km/h speed limit.

It was determined the driver had previously consumed alcohol. An Approved Screening Device (ASD) was utilized. The driver was arrested and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment where further tests were administered.

As a result, Alexandra COPELAND, a 22-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act with:

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·      Drive Motor Vehicle – Perform stunt – Excessive speed

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on November 21, 2024.

Luke McCALLUM – Drive While Suspended, Etc.

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – A Chatham individual has been charged after a suspicious vehicle investigation in Middlesex Centre.

On October 18, 2024, at 4:17 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to Twelve Mile Road in Middlesex Centre, for the report of a suspicious vehicle.

Police located the vehicle parked on the side of the road and initiated a traffic stop.

It was determined the driver was impaired at which time they were placed under arrest and transported to the London OPP detachment for further testing from a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE).

As a result, Luke McCALLUM, a 31-year-old of Chatham, has been charged under the Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act and Cannabis Control Act with:

·      Operation while impaired – drugs

·      Failure or refusal to comply with demand

·      Driving while under suspension

·      Obstruct plate

·      Drive vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on December 18, 2024.

Police Cruisers Struck – Names Released

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Suspicious vehicle leads to charges for two individuals.

On October 22, 2024, at 7:57 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to an address on Eight Mile Road in Middlesex Centre, for the report of a suspicious vehicle.

As officers arrived on scene, the vehicle struck two cruisers and sped off through a field.

It was determined the vehicle had previously been reported stolen from the City of London.

Shortly after, the suspect vehicle was involved in a single vehicle collision on Medway Road.

One individual was placed under arrest at scene and one fled on foot.

Members of the OPP Canine Unit and Emergency Response Team (ERT) were dispatched to assist.

As a result, Jesse DAVIDSON, a 31-year-old of London was arrested at scene and has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 – in Canada

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in London on December 17, 2024.

The driver was later located on foot and was arrested by police.

Bradley MILLS, a 36-year-old of Thames Centre has been charged under the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act with:

  • Dangerous operation
  • Flight from peace officer
  • Operation While Prohibited under the Criminal Code
  • Assault with A Weapon
  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 – in Canada
  • Driving while under suspension

The accused was held for bail.

The cruisers sustained minor damage and the officers were not injured.

Aurel PANA Was Arrested

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Individual from Mount Brydges has been charged with theft of alcohol from business in Kilworth.

On September 11, 2024, at 1:02 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to a business at 10166 Glendon Drive in Kilworth, Middlesex Centre, for the report of a theft of alcohol the previous day.

As a result of the investigation, Aurel PANA, a 52-year-old of Mount Brydges, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code on September 14, 2024, with:

  • Theft Under $5000- SHOPLIFTING

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Driver facing Impaired driving charge after failing roadside demand.

On September 13, 2024, at 10:21 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to a traffic complaint on Glendon Drive in Middlesex Centre, for the report of a possible impaired driver.

The vehicle was located, and a traffic stop was initiated.

It was determined the driver had previously consumed alcohol. An Approved Screening Device (ASD) was utilized. The driver was arrested and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment where further tests were administered.

As a result, Jerry AGAYAO, a 40-year-old of Mount Brydges, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

Clarrae NADJIWON Was Arrested

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Driver facing impaired charge as a result of an OPP RIDE Program.

On September 10, 2024, at 11:35 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were engaged in a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) program on Glendon Drive in Middlesex Centre.

A vehicle entered the program at which time a traffic stop was initiated.

It was determined the driver had previously consumed alcohol. The driver was arrested after failing the roadside Standard Field Sobriety Test (SFST) and was transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment where further tests were administered.

As a result, Clarrae NADJIWON, a 33-year-old of Mount Brydges, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·      Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

On September 3, 2024, at 4:48 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to Westdel Bourne in Middlesex Centre, near Little Church Drive, for the report of a vehicle that left the roadway and entered the ditch.

It was determined the driver had previously consumed alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, Tina WHITE, a 44-year-old of St. Thomas, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Driver facing Impaired driving charge after failing roadside demand.

On August 27, 2024, at 2:19 a.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), while on general patrol on Glendon Drive in Middlesex Centre, performed a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle.

It was determined the driver had previously consumed alcohol. An Approved Screening Device (ASD) was utilized. The driver was arrested and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment where further tests were administered.

As a result, Austyn SAKER, a 27-year-old of Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on October 24, 2024.

Jalal KHALAF Was Arrested Again

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Traffic stop results in charges for London driver.

On August 22, 2024, at 1:03 p.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while on general patrol on Richmond Street in Middlesex Centre, observed a vehicle travelling above the posted speed limit.

A traffic stop was initiated.  

Investigation revealed the driver was suspended and was placed under arrest.

A quantity of illicit drugs was observed and seized from within the vehicle.

As a result, Jalal KHALAF, a 27-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act, Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Cannabis Control Act with:

·      Operation While Prohibited under the Criminal Code

·      Failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court

·      Fail to identify self

·      Driving while under suspension

·      Speeding 1 – 49 Km/h over posted limit

·      Poss of a Schedule I Substance- Cocaine

·      Poss of a Schedule I Substance- Other Drugs

·      Have care or control of vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available

The accused was held for bail.

As a result, Ciana ST.GERMAIN, a 19-year-old of Ilderton, has been charged under the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act with:

·      Novice driver – B.A.C. above zero

·      Use plate not authorized for vehicle
