Goderich Assault – Repeat Offender Arrested & Released Again #Catch&Release #3Stikes

(GODERICH, ON) – On Friday, September 26th, 2025, members of the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an assault on Kingston Street in the Town of Goderich.

As a result of the investigation, OPP learned that the involved suspect had allegedly committed an assault on an individual standing outside a business on Kingston Street.

The suspect was arrested nearby and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:

Amber COLEMAN, 33 years-of-age from Goderich has been charged with:

–      Assault,

–      Fail to Comply with Probation Order – (four counts).

The accused was processed, held for a bail hearing, and later released from custody with a court date scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on October 20, 2025.

Goderich Man Busted After GPS Outs Stolen Golf Cart

(GODERICH, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Goderich resident with a criminal offence following a report to police involving a stolen golf cart that was affixed with a GPS tracking device. 

On Monday, September 15, 2025, Huron County OPP officers received a report of the possible location of a stolen golf cart in the Town of Goderich. The golf cart owner reported the golf cart stolen two days previous from a golf course property in Huron-Kinloss Twp, South Bruce County. Officers attended the location of the GPS tracking device and spoke to an individual. A golf cart was located inside a trailer on the property and confirmed to be the same stolen golf cart. A suspect was arrested at the scene.

The suspect has been charged as follows:

John BOURGEOIS, 59 years-of-age from Goderich has been charged with:

–      Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on October 27th, 2025.

Vicious Dog Attacks In Goderich Leaves One Dead – Kendra BRALL Arrested

(GODERICH, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Goderich resident with a criminal offence following a recent investigation in the Town of Goderich, on July 29th, 2025. 

On August 3rd, 2024, Huron OPP investigated a dog attack that had taken place on Gibbons Street in Goderich. A pedestrian walking their dogs was attacked by two dogs that were not secured on a nearby property. The pedestrian was injured, requiring medical attention, and one of their dogs was killed in the attack. The dog owner was charged with an offence found in the Dog Owner Liability Act (DOLA).

On July 29th, 2025, Huron OPP investigated another dog attack that took place in the same area by the same dogs. In this incident, the victim was on a mobility scooter walking their dog. The victim received injuries from the dog attack.

As a result of the July 29th, 2025, investigation, the accused has been charged as follows:

Kendra BRALL, 36 years-of-age from Goderich has been charged with:

–      Criminal Negligence – Cause Bodily Harm.

The accused was arrested, processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on October 6th, 2025. 

The accused dogs remain with the accused pending the results of a Dog Owner Liability Act (DOLA) court hearing.

Assault & Theft In Goderich – 29 Year Old Arrested Again #3Strikes

(GODERICH, ON) – The Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual following an incident at a retail store on Huron Road in the Town of Goderich. 

On Friday, September 5th, 2025, just after 9:50 a.m., Huron OPP officers were contacted about an individual who reportedly stole items from a store and assaulted a staff member. Police subsequently located and arrested the individual nearby. Officers located the stolen merchandise on the accused. The staff member was not injured in the assault.

David LENTING, 29 years-of-age of no fixed address has been charged with the following offences:

–      Assault,

–      Theft Under $5,000,

–      Fail to Comply with Probation.

The accused was processed and held for a bail hearing where they were remanded into custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.

Cove Beach Chaos: Two Young Drivers Caught on Camera Doing Stunts – Names Released

(GODERICH, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged two individuals following incidents that took place in the Town of Goderich on Saturday September 13th, 2025.   

On September 16th, 2025, police were contacted by Town of Goderich staff to investigate damage to property owned by the Town at the Cove Beach area. Video surveillance in the area caught two different drivers performing stunts with their vehicles in the parking area near the Cove Beach on September 13th, 2025.

Police identified and later located the two individuals responsible, and they were arrested for the offences of Mischief and Stunt Driving.

Brooke HAYES, 23 years-of-age from Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh Township has been charged with:

–      Mischief Under $5,000.

The accused was additionally charged with an offence found in the Highway Traffic Act (HTA), Drive Motor Vehicle – Perform Stunt.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on November 24th, 2025.

Damian PHILLIP-THRUPP, 22 years-of-age from Central Huron has been charged with:

–      Mischief Under $5,000.

The accused was additionally charged with an offence found in the Highway Traffic Act (HTA), Drive Motor Vehicle – Perform Stunt.
