62 Year Old From Central Huron Arrested

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Central Huron resident with an impaired driving offence following a traffic stop on January 01, 2026, in the Municipality of Central Huron. 

Just before 3:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 01, 2026, Huron County OPP officers conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle that was located stopped on Huron Road in Central Huron. The driver was subsequently arrested for impaired operation.

The accused provided breath samples before a qualified OPP Intoxilyzer Breath Technician at the Huron County OPP detachment in Clinton. Breath samples provided to police resulted in readings over the legal limit.

David FISHER, 62 years-of-age from Central Huron has been charged with:

–      Impaired Operation – Over 80.

The vehicle involved was towed and impounded for seven days, and the accused’ driver’s license was suspended for a period of 90 days.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on February 09, 2026.

Evan GUEST Arrested In Clinton

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Central Huron resident with a criminal driving offence following a traffic stop on Orange Street North in the Town of Clinton, Municipality of Central Huron. 

Just before 7:30 p.m., on Sunday, December 28, 2025, Huron County OPP officers conducted a traffic stop to check the sobriety of the vehicle driver. Police spoke to the driver who was suspected of consuming alcohol prior to driving. The driver refused to provide a breath sample to police as required by law.

The driver was subsequently arrested and transported to the Huron County OPP detachment in Clinton where they further refused to provide breath samples.

Evan GUEST, 28 years-of-age from Central Huron has been charged with:

–      Failure or Refusal to Comply with Demand.

The vehicle involved was towed and impounded for seven days, and the accused’ driver’s license was suspended for a period of 90 days.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on February 09, 2026.

20 Year Old From Central Huron Arrested

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Central Huron resident with a criminal driving offence following a collision on Huron Road in the Municipality of Central Huron. 

Just before 1:00 p.m. on June 15, 2025, Huron County OPP officers responded to a single-vehicle collision involving an automobile that left the roadway, colliding with fences and a residence.

The driver was transported to hospital following the collision. Investigating officers obtained a warrant for the driver’s blood sample which was sent to the Centre of Forensic Sciences for testing. Results of the driver’s blood revealed a quantity of drugs in their system prior to the collision.

The driver was subsequently charged for impaired operation.

Jonathan ROBSON, 20 years-of-age from Central Huron was charged with:

–      Operation while Impaired – Blood, Drug Concentration.

The accused has a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on January 12, 2026.

Assaults In Huron East – One Arrested

(HURON EAST, ON) – On December 07, 2025, members of the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a matter involving intimate partners in the Municipality of Huron East.

As a result of the investigation, OPP learned that the involved suspect had allegedly committed criminal acts against their partner.

A 40-year-old individual from Central Huron has been arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:

–      Assault – Spousal – (three counts),

–      Assault Causing Bodily Harm,

–      Uttering Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm – (two counts),

–      Mischief,

–      Fail to Comply with Undertaking.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a later court date scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.

Mark KOVACS Was Arrested

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Central Huron resident with an impaired driving offence following a traffic stop on November 28, 2025, in the Town of Clinton, Municipality of Central Huron. 

Just after 11:00 p.m. on Friday, November 28, 2025, Huron County OPP officers conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle on William Street North in Clinton. The driver was subsequently arrested for impaired operation.

The accused provided breath samples before a qualified OPP Intoxilyzer Breath Technician at the Huron County OPP detachment in Clinton. Breath samples provided to police resulted in readings over the legal limit.

Mark KOVACS, 52 years-of-age from Central Huron has been charged with:

–      Impaired Operation – Over 80.

The vehicle involved was towed and impounded for seven days, and the accused’ driver’s license was suspended for a period of 90 days.

25 Year Old From Central Huron Arrested

(GODERICH, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Central Huron resident with an impaired driving offence following a traffic stop on November 28, 2025, in the Town of Goderich.

Repeat Offender Arrested For Assault #WaitInTheTruck

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – On November 26, 2025, members of the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a matter involving intimate partners in the Town of Clinton, Municipality of Central Huron.

As a result of the investigation, OPP learned that the involved suspect had allegedly committed criminal acts against their partner.

A 36-year-old individual from Central Huron has been arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:

–      Assault – Spousal,

–      Mischief Under $5,000,

–      Breach of Recognizance.

The accused was processed and held for a bail hearing where they were remanded into custody with a later court date scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.

30 Year Old Huron East Resident Arrested

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Huron East resident with Prohibited Driving along with several other provincial offences following a traffic stop on November 22, 2025. 

On Saturday, November 22, at 3:00 p.m., Huron County OPP officers conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle during a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E.) check on Stone School Line in the Municipality of Central Huron.  

Officers confirmed that the male driver was prohibited from driving under the Criminal Code and was subsequently placed under arrest and taken into custody.

Joshua LAYCOX, 30 years-of-age from Huron East has been charged with:

–      Operation while Prohibited.

The accused was additionally charged with three provincial offences found in the Highway Traffic Act (HTA), Cannabis Control Act (CCA), and Liquor Licence Control Act (LLCA).

The vehicle involved was towed and impounded for 45 days.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for January 13, 2026, at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.

Londesboro Break & Enter – Repeat Offenders ELLIOTT & WHITFIELD Arrested Again #3Strikes

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – The Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged two individuals following a break-in at a business property on Londesboro Road in the Municipality of Central Huron. 

On Monday, November 17, 2025, just before 1:00 a.m., Huron OPP officers were contacted about a break and enter in progress. Police arrived on scene minutes later and observed fresh tracks in the snow. During a search for the suspects, a vehicle was observed fleeing the area.

Officers followed the vehicle tracks in the fresh snow to an address near Scott Line and Moncrieff Road. With the assistance of West Region OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) members and the West Region OPP K-9 unit, two suspects were tracked, located, and taken into custody.

As a result of the investigation, the following individuals have been charged as follows:

Shawn ELLIOTT, 49 years-of-age of Central Huron has been charged with the following offences:

–      Break and Enter a Place – Commit Indictable Offence,

–      Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Over $5,000,

–      Fail to Comply with Probation (two counts).

The accused was processed, held for a bail hearing, and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on December 08, 2025.

Nollan WHITFIELD, 40 years-of-age of North Huron has been charged with the following offences:

–      Break and Enter a Place – Commit Indictable Offence,

–      Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Over $5,000,

–      Fail to Comply with Probation (two counts).

The accused was processed, held for a bail hearing, and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on December 08, 2025.

Police Cruiser Damaged In Goderich Incident – Trevor STRUTH Arrested Again #3Strikes

(GODERICH, ON) – The Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual following an incident in the Town of Goderich on November 15, 2025.

On Saturday, November 15, 2025, just before 2:00 p.m., Huron OPP officers were contacted about an individual who was reportedly causing a disturbance at a retail business property on Huron Road in Goderich. Police located the suspect, who proceeded to hit a police cruiser with a hockey stick, then flee on a bicycle. The accused was later located, arrested, and charged as follows:

Trevor STRUTH, 48 years-of-age of no fixed address was charged with:

–      Causing a Disturbance,

–      Assault a Peace Officer,

–      Fail to Comply with Probation – (three counts).

The accused was processed and held for a bail hearing where they were later released from custody. The accused has a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on December 15, 2025.

Clinton Home Invsion: Stephanie ELLIOTT Arrested Again #3Strikes

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – The Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual following an incident in the Town of Clinton, (Municipality of Central Huron).

On Sunday, November 09, 2025, at 09:30 a.m., Huron OPP officers were contacted by a homeowner who discovered someone unlawfully inside the homeowner’s residence, located on Albert Street in Clinton. Police located the suspect inside the home, and they were promptly arrested. The accused was identified and charged as follows:

16 Year Old Arrested For Spousal Assault #WaitInTheTruck

(GODERICH, ON) – On November 08, 2025, members of the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a matter involving intimate partners in the Town of Goderich.

As a result of the investigation, OPP learned that the involved suspect had allegedly committed several criminal acts against their partner.

A 16-year-old young person from Central Huron has been arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:

–      Assault – Spousal – (two counts),

–      Assault Causing Bodily Harm,

–      Uttering Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm – Spousal,

–      Mischief.

The identity of the accused is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Youth Court of Justice – Goderich.

McDOUGALL Arrested For Drunk Driving

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Welland, Ontario resident with criminal driving offences following a traffic stop on Bluewater Highway in the Municipality of Central Huron. 

Just before 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 07, 2025, Huron County OPP officers conducted a traffic stop for speeding and spoke to the vehicle driver who had consumed alcohol prior to driving.

The driver was subsequently arrested for impaired operation and transported to the Perth County OPP detachment in Sebringville where they provided breath samples before a qualified OPP Intoxilyzer Breath Technician. Breath samples were provided to police which resulted in readings over the legal limit.

Danielle McDOUGALL, 31 years-of-age from Welland has been charged with:

–      Operation while Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs,

–      Operation while Impaired – Over 80.

The accused was additionally charged with two offences found in the Cannabis Control Act (CCA) and the Highway Traffic Act (HTA).

The vehicle involved was towed and impounded for seven days, and the accused’ driver’s license was suspended for a period of 90 days.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on December 8th, 2025.

Evan WARING-WALPOLE Was Arrested #3Strikes

(SOUTH HURON / CENTRAL HURON, ON) – The Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual following incidents in the Town of Exeter, (Municipality of South Huron), and the Town of Clinton, (Municipality of Central Huron).

On Sunday, November 02, 2025, just before 10:00 p.m., Huron OPP officers were contacted about an individual who reportedly damaged a glass door at an address on Main Street South in Exeter. Police arrested the suspect, who proceeded to spit on the police officer’s equipment. The accused was charged as follows:

Evan WARING-WALPOLE, 29 years-of-age of no fixed address was charged with:

–      Mischief Under $5,000 – (two counts).

The accused was processed at the Huron OPP detachment, and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on December 29, 2025.

Several hours later, just after 02:00 a.m. on Monday, November 03, 2025, Huron OPP officers responded to a report of a break and enter at a residence on Princess Street East in the Town of Clinton, Municipality of Central Huron with the suspect still inside the residence. Officers arrived and located the suspect inside a bedroom where they were arrested. The accused resisted arrest but was eventually subdued.

The accused was identified as being arrested in South Huron just hours ago. They were additionally charged with the following offences:

–      Unlawfully in a Dwelling House,

–      Resist Peace Officer.

The accused was processed and held for a bail hearing. The accused has a later court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.

Clinton JOHNSON Arrested After Tractor Incident – Police Seek Dashcam Footage

(PERTH EAST, ON) – One person has been charged following a collision involving a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) and farm tractor in the Township of Perth East.

On November 20, 2025 shortly after 8:00 p.m. the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint involving a CMV. While searching for the vehicle police came across a motor vehicle collision on Perth Line 26 near Perth Road 110 where the CMV had collided with a farm tractor.

No one was injured as a result of the collision.

The driver of the CMV, 54-year-old Clinton JOHNSON of Central Huron was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Operation while impaired
  • Dangerous operation

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on January 5, 2026. The accused is also facing a 90-day drivers licence suspension and a 7-day motor vehicle impoundment.
