(Centre Hastings, ON) – On June 26, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. members of Central Hastings O.P.P stopped a vehicle on Boundary Road in the Municipality of Centre Hastings. The driver, 28 year old Megan ROUSE of Flinton, ON was charged with Drive Motor Vehicle – No Licence, Plates Not Authorized and Fail to Surrender Insurance Card.

On Wednesday June 26, 2014 a 16 year old male Cambridge youth was forcibly confined and assaulted at a Woodside Avenue, Cambridge apartment. The offenders left the residence briefly and the victim, fearing for his life, managed to get free and jumped from a third story window to the ground. The victim fortunately suffered only minor injuries. A young person has been arrested and an additional suspect has yet to be located. This was a targeted act. On June 26th, 2014, members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a Kitchener home. Three adult males, all Kitchener residents, were arrested in connection with the investigation. A male who resides at the residence was remanded in police custody, while the remaining two arrested males were released unconditionally. The male is scheduled to attend a show cause hearing on June 27, 2014 to answer to numerous drug-related charges. A quantity of crystal methamphetamine, marihuana, and pills was seized by police during the investigation.
MISSING PERSON
Waterloo Regional Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing 17 year old Cambridge male who was last seen on the morning of Tuesday June 17th at his Cambridge residence. Reme PAVAO 17 years old is described as White, 5’5â€, 125lbs, thin build, brown short hair, brown eyes. Police would like to speak to him and check on his wellbeing. On June 26, 2014 at 11:09 a.m., the Guelph Police went to Elginfield Drive for a collision. It is alleged that a pick-up truck struck a City waste removal vehicle. The female driver of the pick-up was spoken to and grounds were formed that she was impaired by drugs and she was arrested.
Sarah Ralston, 32 years of Guelph has been charged with impaired driving by drug. She will appear in court on August 22, 2014.
On Thursday the 26th of June 2014 just after 8:15 p.m. a 66 year old Chatham man drove his vehicle onto a plaza lot on Grand Avenue. While on the parking lot he was involved in a minor collision, exited his vehicle and went into a local business. A citizen witnessed the collision and contacted police. Chatham-Kent Police attended and after confronting the driver he was arrested.
The driver was charged with having care and control of a motor vehicle while impaired and over 80 mg of alcohol. The male was later released with a future court date.
A post mortem was conducted on a deceased 83 year old male at the London Health Sciences Centre on Thursday the 26th of June 2014. As a result the investigative team has deemed the death not to be suspicious.
MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION

In the evening hours of June 26, 2014, Barrie Police Responded to a motor vehicle collision on Yonge Street.
Investigation found that one of the vehicles had made an illegal U-turn on Yonge street into the path of an oncoming vehicle causing the collision. The investigating officer also determined that the driver of the vehicle that made the illegal U-turn had been consuming alcohol.
As a result, he was charged with careless driving and issued a 3 days suspension for blowing a warning in a ASD.

During the late evening hours of June 26, 2014, a Barrie Police Traffic Unit officer was parked in the area of King Street when he observed a motorcycle traveling along the roadway at a high rate of speed with no lights on. The officer determined that the motorcycle was travelling at 97km/h in a 50km/h zone.
The motorcycle was stopped and it was determined that the 17yr old driver with an M2 licence was recording his high speed ride on his GoPro video camera.
The driver was charged with speeding and improper headlights.

In the early morning hours of June 27, 2014, Barrie Police received a call from a citizen reporting that a female was being assaulted by a male in Bayview Park on Dunlop Street at Mulcaster Street.
Police quickly arrived on scene and were able to stop the offence from being committed further and arrest the male for domestic assault.
While taking the male into custody, he was aggressive, very uncooperative and resisted arrest by attempting to assault the arresting officers.
The male was transported to the station where he was booked for:

A 39 year old Barrie man was arrested for an outstanding warrant at a Georgian Drive building today. The man had been evading police for almost a month before police learned of his whereabouts. It is alleged on May 20th, 2014 the accused struck the victim several times in the head. The victim received facial injuries from the assault. On May 28th, 2014, Barrie Police learned of the accused identity and a warrant for his arrest was obtained for Assault Causing Bodily Harm. The accused was also wanted for two counts of failing to comply with his Probation. It is alleged the accused breached his probation by associating with someone he was not supposed to and failing to report to his Probation Officer. The accused was held for a bail hearing.
