Adrian BOREHAM Was Arrested

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – Driver facing charges as a result of OPP RIDE Program.

On May 4, 2025, at 1:04 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police were engaged in a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) program, on Highway 401 at Elgin Road in Thames Centre.

A vehicle entered the program at which time a traffic stop was initiated.

As a result, Adrian BOREHAM, a 39-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act with:

·      Operation While Prohibited under the Criminal Code (two counts)

·      Driver – fail to properly wear seat belt

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on June 16, 2025, to speak to the charges.

3 More Impaired Drivers Arrested

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – Three individuals have been charged as a result of separate investigations into incidents involving impaired driving.

At approximately 4:25 p.m. on Monday, May 5, 2025, Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a 9-1-1 call reporting a suspected impaired individual operating an e-bike on Brantford Road in the Windham area of Norfolk County.

Officers located the individual and took them into custody without incident.

45-year-old Vasyl BOVCHALIUK from Oxford County has been charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs,
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.

At approximately 12:59 a.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, Norfolk County OPP officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Talbot Road in Delhi, Norfolk County.

Officers located the vehicle, and following a roadside sobriety test, arrested the driver without incident.

24-year-old Faith HORNER from Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offence:

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.

At approximately 8:04 p.m. that same day, a Norfolk County OPP officer conducted a traffic stop and initiated an investigation on James Street in Delhi, Norfolk County.

After completing a roadside sobriety test, the driver was taken into custody without incident.

26-year-old Christopher SCOTT from Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus),
  • Fail to properly wear seat belt,
  • Fail to surrender permit for motor vehicle,
  • Fail to surrender insurance card.

The accused is schedule to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.

Lucas MYLES Was Arrested

(MUNICIPALITY OF BRIGHTON, ON) – The Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid weapons charges following a call for service.

On May 8, 2025, at approximately 8:20 a.m., officers responded a report of a person needing medical attention near a residence on Meade Street in the Municipality of Brighton. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were also requested to provide assistance to the individual.

Officers located pepper spray on the person and as a result, they were taken into custody. Following medical care, the accused was transported to a local detachment.

Lucas MYLES, 28-years-old, from the Municipality of Trent Hills, has been charged with:

–      Unauthorized possession of weapon

–      Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order.

The individual is due to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg at a future date.

65 Year Old Prohibited Driver Arrested

(ONEIDA NATION OF THE THAMES FIRST NATION, ON) – Driver facing charges as a result of a single vehicle collision investigation.

On May 2, 2025, at 2:09 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to Bodkin Road in Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation for a for the report of a vehicle left the roadway and entered the ditch.

The driver was arrested and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, James CORNELIUS, a 65-year-old of Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·      Operation While Prohibited under the Criminal Code

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on June 9, 2025.

Christine HOWES – Drunk Driving

(BRANT, ON) – On May 8, 2025, at approximately 3:53 p.m., members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to reports of a motor vehicle collision in a parking lot on Broadway Street in the Town of Paris.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that a vehicle had collided with several parked vehicles. During the interaction, officers observed signs of impairment. The driver completed an Approved Screening Device (ASD) test at the roadside, which resulted in a “Fail.” The individual was arrested and transported to detachment for further testing.

As a result of the investigation, Christine HOWES, 58 years old, from Brant County, has been charged with the following offences under the Criminal Code:

  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus)
  • Operation While Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs
  • Dangerous Operation

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on May 22, 2025. Additionally, the individual’s driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days, and their vehicle was impounded for seven days.

2 Arrested In Drug Bust

(WALPOLE ISLAND FIRST NATION, ON) – Two individuals are facing drug trafficking charges after a search warrant was executed on Walpole Island First Nation.

On May 2, 2025, members from the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), Elgin-Middlesex CSCU, Essex CSCU, with the assistance of the West Region OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU), OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), Lambton County OPP and Walpole Island Police Service uniform members, executed a search warrant at an address on Altiman Road, Walpole Island First Nation.

Police seized a quantity of suspected fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine, Canadian currency, and other offence-related items.

The combined estimated value of the items seized is over $8,400.

As a result of the investigation, Kyle NAHDEE, 41-year-old of Walpole Island First Nation, has been charged under the Criminal Code and the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with the following offences:

·      Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order (three counts)

·      Fail to comply with probation order

·      Possession of a schedule l substance – Methamphetamine

·      Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine

·      Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Fentanyl

Amber HAWKINS, 33-year-old of Walpole Island First Nation, has been charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with:

  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Fentanyl

The accused were released from police custody and are set to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Sarnia on July 2, 2025.

Drug Bust – Names Released

(THEDFORD, ON) – Police have charged two individuals following a drug investigation that began in March 2025

On April 30, 2025, at approximately 9:00 p.m., members of the Lambton County Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), in collaboration with Lambton OPP uniform members, conducted a traffic stop on Deacon Street in Thedford as part of an ongoing drug investigation.

Police seized a quantity of suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, Canadian currency, and other offence-related property.  

The combined estimated value of the items seized is over $6500.00.

As a result of the investigation, Deshawn WILLIAMS, 25-year-old of Ajax, has been arrested and charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with the following offence:

  • Possession of a schedule 1 substance for purpose of trafficking-Fentanyl. 

Karl PILZ, 31-year-old of Thedford, has been arrested and charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with the following offences:

  • Possession of a schedule 1 substance for purpose of trafficking-Fentanyl
  • Possession of a schedule 1 substance for purpose of trafficking-Methamphetamine

The accused were released from police custody and are set to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice – Sarnia on June 4, 2025.

Kaelan WILLIAMSON Facing Numerous Charges

(DUFFERIN COUNTY) – Members of the Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Shelburne resident with impaired operation related offences as the result of a traffic complaint.

On May 7, 2025, just before 7:00 p.m., Dufferin OPP officers received a traffic complaint near Airport Road in the Town of Mono. Officers located the vehicle on Highway 89 in the Township of Mulmur and initiated a traffic stop. Upon contact with the male driver, officers observed signs of impairment and began an impaired driving investigation.

Kaelan WILLIAMSON, a 26-year-old male, from Shelburne has been charged with:

•      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

•      Operate a motor vehicle without insurance

•      Knowingly give invalid insurance card

•      Driving motor vehicle with open container of liquor

•      Drive vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available

•      Fail to notify change of address

The accused individual is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville. Their driver’s licence was suspended, and their vehicle impounded.

One Dead – Singh VARINDER Arrested

(KENORA, ON) – The Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges following a fatal collision that occurred on February 20, 2024.

On February 20, 2024, at approximately 9:30 p.m., members of the Kenora OPP Detachment, Fire, and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 17A involving a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) and passenger sport utility vehicle (SUV).

The driver of the CMV was pronounced deceased at the scene. The passenger of the CMV was transported to hospital by EMS to be treated for life-threatening injuries. The driver of the SUV sustained minor injuries.

As a result of the investigation, Singh VARINDER, 31-years-old of Brampton, Ontario, has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

·      Dangerous Operation causing bodily harm

·      Dangerous Operation causing death

The accused has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kenora on May 12, 2025.

Traffic safety remains a top priority of the OPP and is a key component of the OPP’s public safety mandate. Investigations resulting in the loss of life and serious injuries can be complex to investigate. As the vast majority of fatal collisions are preventable, thorough and accurate investigations help ensure that motorists who cause these collisions are held accountable for their driving behaviours. 24 Year Old Facing Numerous Firearms Charges #Uprising #OntarioMilitia

(BURLINGTON, ON) – An individual is facing 19 firearms-related Criminal Code (CC) charges following an investigation into the importation of firearms and prohibited devices.

In March 2025, members assigned to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Border Enforcement Security Task Force (BEST) in Niagara and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Homeland Security Investigations initiated an intelligence-led investigation into the alleged importation of firearms and prohibited devices from the U.S. into Canada.

On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, an individual was arrested in Burlington by members assigned to BEST from the OPP, Toronto Police Service, Peel Regional Police, Niagara Regional Police Service, and the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) with assistance from the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit, OPP Highway Enforcement Team and the OPP Provincial Weapons Enforcement Unit.

As a result, Daniel MENEZES, age 24 of Hamilton, has been charged with the following 19 offences contrary to the CC:

  •         Import a firearm knowing it’s unauthorized – two counts
  •         Unauthorized importation of a firearm – two counts
  •         Unauthorized possession of a prohibited device – two counts
  •         Possession of a firearm knowing it was unauthorized – two counts
  •         Possession of a prohibited device knowing it was unauthorized – two counts
  •         Possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition – two counts
  •         Import a prohibited device knowing it’s unauthorized
  •         Import components for the use in making automatic firearms knowing it’s unauthorized
  •         Unauthorized importation of a prohibited device
  •         Unauthorized importation of components for use in the making of automatic firearms
  •         Unauthorized possession of a prohibited firearm
  •         Unauthorized possession of a restricted firearm
  •         Possession of a prohibited weapon

The accused was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Milton on May 14, 2025.

22 Year Old Arrested For Drunk Driving

(NORWICH, ON) – An individual from the Paris is facing impaired driving related charges after a vehicle entered the ditch.

On May 4, 2025, at approximately 4:00 a.m., the Oxford Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment were dispatched to a vehicle in the ditch, on Highway 2, in the Township of Norwich. Officers attended and observed a single motor vehicle collision had occurred. There were no reported injuries.

Ethan Crozier, 22-years-old, of Paris, has been charged with:  

·      Operation while Impaired – Alcohol

·      Operation while Impaired – Blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·      Dangerous Operation

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on June 17, 2025.

Drug Bust – Names Released

(STIRLING, ON) – An investigation has led to a drug seizure and arrests in Stirling.

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit began a drug trafficking investigation in April.

On Thursday, May 7, 2025, Street Crime Unit members, the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit, Emergency Response Team members and officers of the Central Hastings Detachment, conducted a traffic stop on Church Street. Two people were arrested without incident.

Search warrants were then executed at two residences on Church Street, as well as the car the individuals have been in.

Officers seized more than 100 grams of suspected cocaine, over seven grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine and over $700 in cash, as well as items typically associated with drug trafficking.

Roy MILLEN, age 56 of Stirling-Rawdon Township and Christopher MATHIEU, age 44 of Quinte West, have each been charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – two counts
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000

Both accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on May 8, 2025.

Rinelle TAYLOR Arrested For Assault

(KENORA, ON) – On Saturday, May 3, 2025, shortly before 5:00p.m., members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an assault in a parking lot on Park Street.

Officers quickly located the victim nearby, in front of a local store on Park Street, who sustained minor injuries from the assault

Through investigation, officers identified and located the suspect, who was arrested and charged accordingly.

As a result of the investigation, Rinelle TAYLOR, 31-years-old of Kenora, Ontario, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·      Assault

The accused was held for Bail and remanded into custody. She will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kenora at a later date.

Cocaine Bust – Jessica BEASLEY

(GEORGIAN BAY TWP, ON) – The Bracebridge Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one driver after responding to a traffic complaint in Georgian Bay Township.

On May 7, 2025 at 11:35 p.m. Bracebridge OPP officers responded to a traffic complaint made by a member of the public in Mactier. Officers located the vehicle on Elizabeth Street, conducted a traffic stop and determined that the driver had an outstanding warrant from another jurisdiction. During the course of their investigation, officers located a suspected controlled substance and subsequently charged 33-year-old Jessica BEASLEY of Georgian Bay Twp, ON with Possession of Schedule I Substance- Cocaine. She will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on June 24, 2025 to answer to her charge.

3 Arrested In Drug Bust

(DRYDEN, ON) – An investigation led by the Dryden Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with assistance from the Dryden OPP detachment and the Treaty Three Police Service has led to charges being laid against several individuals.

On May 7, 2025, just after 1:00 p.m., a traffic stop was conducted on Highway 594 west of the City of Dryden. The investigation resulted in the arrest of three individuals from Wabigoon Lake First Nation and the seizure of suspected illicit drugs, including fentanyl and cocaine.

As a result of the investigation, Clarissa MACHENDAGOOS, 29-years-old, has been charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and the Criminal Code with the following offences:

·        Traffick in Schedule I substance – cocaine

·        Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine

·        Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl

·        Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000

Siarra JONES, 28-years-old, has been charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with:

·        Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl

Justin GORDON, 34-years-old, has been charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and the Criminal Code with the following offences:

·        Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl           

·        Fail to comply with Probation Order

Shortly after 2:00 pm, another related traffic stop was conducted on Highway 11, east of Couchiching First Nation, resulting in the arrest of two individuals from Couchiching First Nation and the seizure of suspected illicit drugs, including cocaine.

As a result of the investigation, Kristen BOSHEY, 36-years-old, and Richard MORRISSEAU, 69-years-old, have both been charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with the following:

·        Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine

All the accused individuals have been held in custody and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on May 8, 2025.
