(DUFFERIN COUNTY, ON) – On Saturday May 10 between 10 am and 2 pm Dufferin OPP and Shelburne Police held a Prescription Drug Drop off program at the rear of the Shelburne Police Station in the Town of Shelburne.
The event was a success with police receiving over 2 kilograms of prescription and non-prescription drugs for disposal. This is once again a good example of local police services working together towards a common goal. Police would like to thank the public for their cooperation in ensuring that prescription drugs aren’t sold illegally in our communities.
This event is sponsored by the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police as well as the OPP and Municipal Police Services throughout the province.
