(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a break and enter that occurred in Keewatin this morning.
On Thursday June 5, 2014 shortly after 2:00 am the Kenora OPP received a call that a male suspect had attempted to enter a home in Keewatin. The resident heard an unknown person open the door to her home and called out. The suspect fled the scene.
The suspect is described as male, approximately 5â€Â8 with dark hair wearing a brown hoodie.
Police attended immediately and were assisted by the OPP K9 Unit, Kenora Detachment Marine and Trails Unit, Kenora Forensic Identification Unit, Scenes of Crime Officers, Treaty Three Police and Kenora Crime Unit members. The suspect was not located and the investigation is continuing. Uniform and plain-clothes police officers will be canvassing the area today.
