(POINT EDWARD, ON) Two Sarnia residents have been arrested and charged by the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) after an investigation into a theft.
During the afternoon of June 8, 2014 Lambton OPP became involved in the investigation which involved the theft of a Rolex watch with an estimated value of $38,000.00 (Thirty-eight thousand).
The incident took place during an auction in Point Edward however the suspects were subsequently arrested in Sarnia. The stolen watch was recovered by OPP officers during the investigation.
Ronald HOFSTEEDE, 48 years of age from Sarnia, ON has a Sarnia court date of July 21, 2014 to answer to the charges of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000.00 as well as Theft Over $5000.00
Shelley CROTEAU, 45 years of age from Sarnia, ON has a Sarnia court date of July 21, 2014 to answer to the charge of Theft Over $5000.00
The matter is now before the courts.
