Three Firearms Located And Four Males Arrested

(TILLSONBURG, ON.) – Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a break and enter to a residence located on Fourth Street, in the Town of Tillsonburg which occurred between June 8 and June 9, 2014.

As a result of investigation and warrants executed, three firearms were recovered and four males arrested. The Smith & Wesson M&P – 223 calibre rifle remains outstanding.

William WHITCROFT, 22 years of age of Tillsonburg was charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with the following:

Fail to Comply with Probation Order (2 counts)
Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
Possession of a firearm, prohibited or restricted weapon obtained by crime
Possession of Prohibited or Restricted Firearm/ammunition
Careless storage of Firearm, weapon, Prohibited device or ammunition
Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order
Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 – in Canada
Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm

Kyle WEATHERSTON, 25 years old of Tillsonburg was charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with the following:

Careless Use of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited device or Ammunition
Possession of a firearm, prohibited or restricted weapon obtained by crime
Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
Occupant of Motor Vehicle knowing there was a Firearm
Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order

Nathan MARTIN, 27 years old of Tillsonburg was charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with the following:

Careless Use of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited device or Ammunition
Possession of a firearm, prohibited or restricted weapon obtained by crime
Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
Occupant of Motor Vehicle knowing there was a Firearm
Possession of Firearm or ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order
Fail to Comply with Probation Order
Break & Enter a place and steal a firearm

Daniel DUNN, 29 years of age of Tillsonburg was charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with the following:

Careless Use of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited device or Ammunition
Possession of a firearm, prohibited or restricted weapon obtained by crime
Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
Occupant of Motor Vehicle knowing there was a Firearm

All males have been remanded into custody pending bail hearings.

The investigation is continuing.
