(WASAGA BEACH, ON.) – On June 10th, 2014 at approximately 10:30 p.m., members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police observed a motor vehicle on 18th Street transporting a load of wood. Upon a closer look it was determined that this wood was not properly secured on this vehicle and it was stopped.
The driver of this motor vehicle initially identified himself as another person, however Police did determine the driver’s true identity and that his licence had expired.
Charged with “Obstruct Peace Officer†and “Personation with Intent†is Steven G. DEGEER 48 years old from Wasaga Beach. First appearance is August 5th, 2014 in Collingwood court. In addition Police have charge the accused with “Insecure Load†and “Drive Motor Vehicle – No Licence†both under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.
