MALE ARRESTED DURING TRAFFIC STOP

(CALEDON, ON) – On June 13, 2014 at 2 pm, officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a silver Mercedes stopped in a westbound lane of traffic on Mayfield Road, east of Highway 410. The officers stopped to check on the occupants and learned that the driver and male passenger had taken the vehicle out for a test drive.

Police conducted a check and discovered that the driver was bound by an Undertaking Order with a no contact condition associated to his passenger.

As a result of the traffic stop, Jagroop Singh SIDHU, 39, of Brampton was arrested and charged with Breach of Undertaking.

The accused was held in custody and he appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton the following day.
