(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is reminding the public to protect their property and valuables against would be thieves after receiving a report of a theft from a Argyle Avenue, Delhi, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
Between Friday, June 13, 2014 and Monday, June 16, 2014, unknown suspects attended the address and proceeded to remove a trolling motor from a boat that was located on the property.
The motor is described as a Shakespear trolling motor, black and green in colour and is valued at approximately $1,000 dollars.
The OPP would like to remind all community residents that if they see suspicious persons or vehicles, try to obtain as much detail as you can, write down the person(s) description, the type of vehicle they are driving and the licence plate number.
Then don’t delay, call the police and report it. 1 – 888 – 310 – 1122 will put you in contact with the nearest O.P.P. Communications Centre to report the activity. OPP (677) on your cellular will also work.
