(BLIND RIVER, ON) – On June 7, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. police received a call from a Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) Conservation Officer advising of an impaired boater on the North Channel of Lake Huron near Blind River. Officers from the East Algoma detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) met the Conservation Officer at the dock in the Township of the Northshore where the male was arrested and taken into custody. As a result of the investigation 43 year old William DUNBAR of Blind River has been charged with impaired operation of a vessel and operating vessel with over 80 mgs.
He is schedule to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Blind River on August 7, 2014.
