Youth Falls From Cliff

(GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) - On June 16, 2020 at 2:29 p.m. Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a young person that had fallen off of a cliff at Eugenia Falls Conservation Area in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.
The youth was walking with friends, when he lost his footing and fell down the rock face into a cavern below.
Grey Bruce OPP assisted Grey County Paramedics and members of the Grey Highlands and Blue Mountains Fire Department in rescuing this youth, after several hours of navigating the steep cliffs.
The youth was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
Grey Bruce OPP remind all hikers to stay on marked trails and walkways.
