Teen Sexually Assaulted In Listowel - 30 Year Old Arrested

(NORTH PERTH, ON) - The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have laid a charge in relation to an incident that occurred in the Municipality of North Perth on May 14 2020.
Police were called to an address on Barber Avenue North, Listowel, shortly before 8:00 a.m. by the 16 year old victim, who reported that a sexual assault had occurred. Police conducted an investigation, and one person is now facing charges.
As a result, a 30 year old resident of North Perth has been arrested and charged with:
Uttering Threats - Cause Death or Bodily Harm
Sexual Assault
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charges.
