Drunk Driver Arrested In Mildmay

(MILDMAY, ON) � The South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested an impaired driver at a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) checkpoint.

On May 1, 2024, members of the South Bruce OPP were conducting a RIDE checkpoint in Mildmay. At approximately 12:03 a.m., police stopped a vehicle to check the sobriety of the driver. They were displaying signs of impairment. The driver was subsequently placed under arrest and taken to a Qualified Breath Technician for breath tests.

Jason RAWN, 38-years-old, from the Municipality of South Bruce was charged with:

Operation while impaired � blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
