The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a youth wanted on an outstanding warrant.
On May 20, 2014, the youth was released from custody with several conditions. One of those conditions stated that he was to attend police headquarters every Saturday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to sign in with the officer in charge.
On Saturday, June 7, 2014, the youth failed to sign in and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Yesterday afternoon, the youth was located and arrested. The 17-year-old Harwich Township youth has been charged with failing to comply. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
