Vandalism

The London Police Service has identified a crime pattern of vandalism occurring in the Masonville and Stoneybrook neighbourhoods of London, near the intersection of Adelaide Street North and Fanshawe Park Road East. These incidents include: rocks thrown through the windows of homes and vehicles, eggs thrown at vehicles, cars keyed, and pranks such as doorbell ringing and property left on doorsteps.

These incidents which began June 6, 2014 are occurring overnight on Fridays and Saturdays between the hours of 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Teenagers on bicycles were seen leaving the area in two of the incidents.

The Crime Prevention Unit and Neighbourhood Watch have been engaged and proactive measures will be put into place in an attempt to prevent offences and identify offenders. The public is asked to be vigilant and report suspicious persons or circumstances to the London Police Service immediately.
