(ST.MARYS, ON) On Wednesday April 30, 2014, a St. John St. South resident contacted the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), to report the theft of a mountain bike from his garage.
Investigation revealed that sometime between Saturday evening April 26, and Wednesday evening April 30, 2014, an unknown suspect entered the detached garage on the residential property. Entry into the garage was gained by means of an unlocked man-door located on the side of the building.
The bicycle is a Royal Blue coloured, 2006 specialized “Hardrock†man’s mountain bike, with front shocks, and disc brakes. The bike has an odometer on the handle bars, and a black mount for a flashlight. The bike is valued at $1,000.
Anyone knowing the whereabouts of this bike or having information about this theft is requested to contact the Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), you could be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
