On May 18th 2014 at approximately 1 p.m., a male suspect took some merchandise while exiting a convenience store on Highland Rd. E. Kitchener. The suspect was confronted by the store employee before leaving about the unpaid merchandise. The suspect assaulted the employee and fled the store on foot. The employee was not seriously injured. The suspect was last seen on Spadina Ave and is described as a white male 30-40 yrs old, short hair, black baseball hat and jean shorts cut below his knees.
