On June 11, 2014 at approximately 2:00pm a person on person robbery occurred in the area of Fairway Road and Wilson Av in the city of Kitchener. A male was threatened with a knife during the incident. Police responded to the area and were able to apprehend the suspect after brief foot pursuit around numerous businesses in the area and with the assistance of the canine unit. The incident was targeted and there was no threat to general public safety during the incident. A 20 year old Kitchener male is charged with robbery, weapons and drug offences.
