Robbery

At approximately 4am on Friday morning, a lone male suspect entered the Esso gas station at the intersection of Essa Rd. and Bryne Dr. At that time the suspect produced a knife and demanded cash from the clerk. An undisclosed amount of money was obtained and the suspect fled the scene. Police responded and a K9 search of the area was conducted with negative results. Members of the Criminal Investigations Division are continuing the investigation. The suspect in this matter is described as a white male in his early 20’s, approximately 5’6 tall with a slim build. He was wearing a black hooded sweat shirt and track pants. In addition to being armed with a knife the suspect was also in possession of a skateboard.
