(RIPLEY, ON) – On May 25, 2014 at 9:46 am, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break in at the Ripley Legion located on Jessie Street in Ripley. Sometime between 8:00 pm on May 24, 2014 and 9:30 am on May 25, 2014, entry was gained forcibly through a side window. The Legion safe was pried open and a quantity of cash was taken. There is no estimate available on the cost of this break in.
