On Monday May 19, 2014 at approximately 5:30 p.m., three children under the age of 12 years were playing at the creek bed located off Parkside Drive near the back of the Sunnydale Place complex in Waterloo. A male approached the location and spoke with one of the girls. The male then got closer to her and continued the conversation. He was then seen touching the girl. The children decided to return home and police were called.
Police searched the area without success. No one was injured. The male is described as White, approximately 6′ to 6′ 2 medium build in his 20’s. He had light brown hair curly hair and no facial hair. He was wearing blue jeans and a dark colored top. Police attended the area but the male was gone.
