On May 10, 2014 at approximately 11:35pm a motor vehicle struck two light standards at the intersection of Ottawa Street South and Strasburg Road in the City of Kitchener. The occupants of the motor vehicle fled the scene before police arrival. It is unknown if any injuries were sustained by the occupants. Traffic was re-routed for several hours while the light standards were replaced.
