The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a Moraviantown man in connection with a theft in Chatham.
On June 6, 2014, police responded to an address on Grand Avenue East in regards to a theft complaint. At this time, a 25-year-old Chatham man reported that his iPhone 4S had been stolen.
Through investigation, police identified the man responsible for the theft.
Yesterday afternoon, the man was located and arrested. Peter Hopkins, 34 years, of River Line in Moraviantown has been charged with theft under $5000. He has been released from custody pending a future court date.
