The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man for failing to comply with his curfew.
On May 28, 2014, the man was released from custody with several conditions. One of those conditions stated that he was to abide by a daily curfew of 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
On this same date just before midnight, an officer attended the man’s residence and learned that he was not home.
Yesterday afternoon, around 2:00 p.m. officers located the man on Van Crescent in Wallaceburg and he was arrested. The 18-year-old Merlin man has been charged with failing to comply. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
