On May 4, 2014 at approximately 8:00 p.m., emergency services were alerted to a fire at Ken’s Family Restaurant, located at Silvercreek Parkway North and Woodlawn Road West. The Guelph Fire Department attended and extinguished the fire in the premises.
One male from the restaurant was taken to Guelph General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Three Guelph Police officers were treated at Guelph General Hospital for smoke inhalation and released.
