(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) – A 42 year old male driver recently served a three day driver’s licence suspension following an early morning traffic stop on May 10, 2014. At 1:40 a.m. Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers stopped the driver of a GMC Sierra pickup that was travelling on London Road in Port Albert.
Upon speaking with the driver the officer noted the driver had been drinking alcohol. A roadside test was completed and the driver registered a fail on the roadside screening test. He was arrested and transported to the Kincardine OPP Detachment for breath tests. He provided breath tests to a qualified intoxilizer technician and the results registered below the legal limit however within the warn range level. The 42 year old from North Huron was served with a three day driver’s licence suspension and his pickup was towed away from the scene.
