Police received a 911 call to a west end home with regards to a possible domestic assault.
When officers arrived, they located a female who was unconscious with visible injuries to her face. As she was being treated by Georgian Ambulance staff, she regained consciousness and told police that she was assaulted by her husband. She was transported to Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre.
Police arrested a 42 year old Barrie male and charged him with assault. He was held for bail.
