Christopher KAHGEE – Drive While Disqualified, Breach

(BRUCE TWP, ON) – On May 7, 2014 at 12:13 pm, a South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol along Highway 21 in Bruce Township saw a Grey Toyota Camry moving at a high rate of speed. The vehicle speed was displayed on radar at 115 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone. The officer stopped the car and found the driver didn’t have a licence or permission to use the car. 39 year Christopher KAHGEE of Saugeen First Nation was charged with Drive while disqualified, Take motor vehicle without consent and 2 counts for Breach of probation. He was held in custody pending the results of a show cause hearing scheduled for May 8, 2014 at 2:00 pm.
