On the 1st of June 2014 at approximately 8 pm, Barrie Police were involved in an investigation that resulted in officers recovering two distinct BMX bicycles. Through the investigation it was revealed the bicycles were possibly stolen within the last two to three weeks from the downtown skate park.
If you have had a BMX bike stolen from that location in recent weeks, Barrie Police request that you contact the Barrie Police property office with a detailed description of the bicycle, serial number if you have it in order to claim the property.
Police also recommend locking your bicycles when leaving them unattended.
