The Guelph Police are investigating the theft of a truck and ATM that occurred in the early morning hours of May 18, 2014. Two suspects went to the south end of Guelph, broke into and stole a pickup truck. They then took the stolen pickup truck to an ATM vestibule, where they used the truck to rip the ATM machine from the wall. Police located and recovered the stolen vehicle a short time later close to the theft location.
The suspects are described as:
Male, white, 5’9â€Â, wearing a black checkered jacket and beige pants
Male, white, 6’, wearing a grey jacket and black jacket and black pants
Police are asking anyone that was in the area of Southgate Drive and Laird Road at around 4:30 a.m. and noticed something suspicious to contact D/Cst. Chris Probst at 519-824-1212 ext. 7342.
