Abduction

The London Police Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section are currently investigating an abduction that took place on Saturday, May 24, 2014 in the area of Southdale Road and Adelaide Street south.

Two females, 9 and 11 years old, were walking in the area of Southdale Road east of Adelaide Street when they were approached by a male driving a motor vehicle at about 7:30 pm. The male was not known to the girls. The male enticed the girls into the vehicle then drove them to Springbank Park in west London. The male and the girls walked in the area of Storybook Gardens and the wading pool before returning to the vehicle. The male then drove the girls to a fast food outlet near Wellington and Commissioners Roads, arriving at 9:50 pm, where the male purchased food for the girls. He then drove them back to Springbank Park where they consumed the food. The male then drove the girls back to the area of Southdale Road and Adelaide Street where he dropped off one of the girls. That girl walked home, arriving at 11:10 pm. The male left the area with the other girl and went to an unknown location where the child was sexually assaulted. The child was then driven back to the area of Southdale Road and Adelaide Street and dropped off, at about 11:40 pm. Both girls are now home with their parents. Neither of the girls sustained any physical injuries.
