Wingham Police have one 17 year old youth in custody following the armed robbery at Mac’s Convenience Store on May 22nd. In addition to this incident, it is alleged that the youth was involved an attempted robbery from a Josephine Street Business on May 24th.

The youth is being held in custody pending an audio appearance on May 25th. He faces several charges including robbery, wearing a disguise and possession of a weapon. Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed any of these occurrences to contact the Wingham Police at (519) 357-1212.

Shortly before midnight on May 22nd, Wingham Police were called to a robbery at the Mac’s Convenience store on Josephine Street. The suspect, a lone male, entered the store and demanded cash and product. He was wearing dark clothing and a balaclava carrying a dark coloured backpack. No injuries were sustained during the incident. Anyone with information regarding this crime is asked to contact the Wingham Police or Crime Stoppers.

Wingham Police Service is currently looking for Kyle Greer of Wingham. Greer had been released on bail for previous charges and it is alleged that he has breached conditions of his bail.
