It’s Time To Honor Your Pledge And Stand On Guard For Thee – Democracy Flatlining In North Huron Under TKWS & Kuyvenhoven Kult #StandYourGround #OCanada

Tomorrow morning there is an 80% chance of accountability during the Wingham BIA meeting scheduled for 8am at the Complex. Those that oppose taxation without representation must attend. Those against government waste must attend. Those that have ever uttered the words “O’Canada, we stand on guard for thee” and meant it, must attend.

The King Without Shame (TKWS) aka bernie bailey, Reeve of North Huron has allowed Hall Of Shamer and KK leader aka “lil dougie” free reign over Josephine Street, to the detriment of the entire Community. Enough is enough.

Hall Of Shamer To Head Wingham BIA – Area Businesses Give Up After $200,000 Flushed With Zero Results #EndTheDougClub

Since 2013 the Wingham BIA has blown approximately $200,000 of tax money with zero results, other than increasing taxes. Only in Wingham do they think the solution to high taxes is even higher taxes. We have record vacancies on Josephine St due to high taxes, so the solution was the BIA tax to promote those businesses loyal to Town Hall and town staff and force all the remaining businesses to foot the bill.

The Wingham BIA has sat idle and silent while scammers take some Josephine St. properties off the tax rolls, increasing the burden on the remaining commercial properties. Forcing us to pay their taxes for them. Imagine the nerve of and corruption required to force others to pay your taxes for you. Now imagine a business community that has given up due to the futility of battling the Old Boys Club, and you now know what Wingham is like. Abandon all hope ye who give a shit.

King Bailey Openly Mocks Town Staff & Appoints Doug Kuyvenhoven As Complaint Czar For Wingham – Wingham Businesses & Entrepreneurs Want Howson Dam Saved #StandYourGround #EndTheDougClub

North Huron Reeve bernie bailey, AKA King bailey The Shameless, is now in favor of saving Howson Dam, as it will increase the value of his home on the river by $100,000+. This is despite doug kuyvenhoven demanding it’s removal.

The good news is, it is virtually guaranteed the king without shame will now save the dam as there is direct financial reward in it for him. He couldn’t be bothered to do anything about it when he was on council 2010-2014, as there was no money in it for him at the time.

At a recent council meeting king bernie bailey openly mocked town staff saying they are doing an excellent job. King bailey has apparently appointed doug kuyvenhoven as Complaint Czar for Wingham. This is after town staff were caught dumping snow on private property, and snow-blowing inches of dirt from around fire hydrants onto private property.

If you have any complaints about taxes, service, potholes, Howson Dam neglect, ineffective BIA, BIA tax, etc. etc. please contact the head of the BIA doug kuyvenhoven the new complaint Czar, and have the courage to speak your mind.

Wingham Market Growing, Vendors Sell Out – Wingham To Get Bakery Back!

If you attended Saturday’s Market, you likely heard that Wingham is
getting its Bakery back!  The Wingham Community Market was
honored to have Dave Tophen selling his baked goods to the Public,
despite the mini-stampede created by the eager Public to get in line
for some incredibly fresh and delicious baked goods.  If you
are like most people and can’t wait until the Bakery is re-opened,
stop by the Wingham Community Market Saturdays 8AM – 2PM to
taste his wares.  Some members of the Public are now starting
to show up at 7:30am to get a jump on the crowd and to ensure they
have access to fresh local produce.  New potatoes and peas sold
out early, as did breads, tarts, buns etc. etc. etc.

Hand carved walking sticks, hand painted signs, frozen meat, cured
meats, Epicure, knitted items, hand spun wool and fresh produce are
just a few things that were on offer at Saturday’s Market.

Help re-build our Community, support area Entrepreneurs and their
Families by spreading the word about the area’s fastest growing
Community Market.  The Market is on London Road, 500 meters
north of Wingham, just past the Royal T gas station.

Local Strawberries and New Potatoes Sell Out Early – More Vendors and More On Deck For Wingham Community Market

For a Market that wasn’t expected to open this year, started and
promoted with a zero budget, it is doing amazingly well and starting
to thrive.  Several Vendors sold out and went home early from
last Saturday’s Community Market, located just north of
Wingham.  Several new vendors were at Saturday’s Market, and
more are expected this coming Saturday.  The new Market is
great place for area Producers and Entrepreneurs to meet new
customers and promote their businesses, and ideal for Customers that
like to shop in the sunshine.

New parking spots were created at the Market to help alleviate the
parking issues during the peak hours of early morning.  Those
that waited a few hours after market opening missed out on local
strawberries and new potatoes, proving the old adage, snooze you
lose”.  Many people couldn’t wait until the 8am Market opening

Name, Phone Number & Photo Required To Attend North Huron Council Meetings?

At last night’s council meeting, North Huron Fire Chief stated that
he could not include names and addresses of calls in his reports
anymore, as it is a violation of Privacy.

Speaking of Privacy.

WFP knows of several people that refuse to attend council meetings
because their name gets published in the minutes, against their
wishes.  There is a sign in sheet” at every council meeting
