Samuel WIGHT Was Arrested Again

(DUFFERIN COUNTY) – Members of the Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a Georgetown resident with impaired driving following a suspicious person call for service.

On August 28, 2025, shortly after 3:30 a.m., officers from the Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call for service in the area of Hawthorne Road in the Town of Mono. Upon arrival, officers located the suspects vehicle and spoke with the male driver. During the interaction, officers observed signs of impairment and initiated an impaired driving investigation.

Samuel WIGHT, a 30-year-old male, from Georgetown has been charged with:

•      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

•      Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

•      Fail to Comply with Probation Order

The accused individual is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville. Their driver’s licence was suspended, and their vehicle impounded.

Michael CAILLE – Drunk Driving

(LAKESHORE, ON) – On September 2, 2025, at approximately 9:53 p.m., members of the Lakeshore Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment along with Essex-Windsor Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a report of a single vehicle collision on North Talbot Road in the Municipality of Lakeshore.

The driver was treated on scene for minor injuries. Upon speaking to officers, the driver displayed signs of impairment, as a result they were arrested and transported to a local detachment for further testing.

Michael CAILLE, 30-years-old, of Essex, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus),

The accused is scheduled to appear on September 16, 2025, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor to answer to the charges.

The accused was issued a 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension and a 14-day vehicle impoundment as per statute.

Patrick MCMURTER – Drunk Driving

(PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY, ON) – A motorist has been charged with impaired driving after being stopped at a RIDE program in Prince Edward County.

Officers with the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a RIDE on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, shortly after 1:00 a.m., on Highway 62 near County Road 3.

They conducted a test on a pick-up truck driver, using an approved roadside alcohol screening device. As a result, the individual was arrested and transported to the detachment for further testing.

Patrick MCMURTER, age 67 of Consecon, has been charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Picton on September 17, 2025.

The individual’s driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days, and their vehicle was impounded for seven days.

Kirsten KETT – Drunk Driving

(LAKESHORE, ON) – On September 2, 2025, at approximately 7:38 p.m., members of the Lakeshore Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment received a report of a two-vehicle collision on I.C. Roy Drive and Oakwood Avenue in the Municipality of Lakeshore.

Officers arrived on scene and upon speaking to the driver, determined that one of the involved drivers had previously consumed alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to a local detachment for further testing.

As a result, Kirsten KETT, 28-years-old, of Windsor, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus),

The accused is scheduled to appear on September 17, 2025, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor to answer to the charges.

The accused was issued a 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension and a 14-day vehicle impoundment as per statute.

No injuries were reported as a result of the collision.

BEER Arrested For Drunk Driving

(ESSEX, ON) – On September 2, 2025, at approximately 2:45 p.m., members of the Essex Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment received a report of a single motor vehicle into the ditch on 12th Concession Road Town of Essex

Officers arrived on scene and upon speaking to the driver, officers observed signs of impairment. The driver was arrested and transported to a local detachment for further testing.

As a result, Daniele BEER, 36-years-old, of Middlesex County, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus),

The accused is scheduled to appear on September 16, 2025, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor to answer to the charges.

Jordan Peters – Drunk Driving

(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – Members from the City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) entered into an impaired driving investigation after receiving a call for service regarding a disturbance near County Road 30 in Verulam.

On Sunday August 31, 2025 at approximately 9:10 pm, officers were dispatched to a fight in progress, while enroute they were notified of the parties departing the residence. A pick-up truck was located on County Road 30 and a traffic stop occurred after the pick up truck turned onto County Road 8. The driver was arrested and charged with Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act offences.

Jordan Peters, 33-year-old of Trent Lakes, was charged with:

  • Operation while Impaired – Alcohol and Drug
  • Operation while Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80
  • Drive Motor Vehicle No Licence

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay at a later date. The drivers license was suspended for 90 days and the motor vehicle was impounded for 7 days.

Tyler Stuart Facing Numerous Charges

(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – Members from the City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) entered into an impaired driving investigation during a traffic stop.

On Monday September 01, 2025 at approximately 6:42 pm, officers responding to a call for service located a pick up truck on Woodville Road. The driver was arrested and charged with Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act, Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act, and Cannabis Control Act.

Tyler Stuart, 35-year-old of Eldon Township, was charged with:

  • Operation while Impaired – Alcohol and Drug
  • Operation while Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80
  • Drive vehicle with Cannabis Readily Available
  • Operator a Motor Vehicle without Insurance
  • Use Plate not Authorized for Vehicle
  • Operate Unsafe Vehicle

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay at a later date. The drivers license was suspended for 90 days and the motor vehicle was impounded for 7 days.

2 Sent To Hospital – Joshua MCEACHERN Arrested

(GUEPLH-ERAMOSA TWP, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charge a Guelph resident with two criminal charges stemming from a two-motor vehicle collision.

On August 31, 2025, at approximately 9:00 p.m., members from the Wellington County OPP attended the scene of a two-motor vehicle collision on Wellington Road 124 within Guelph-Eramosa Township.

As a result of the investigation, Joshua MCEACHERN, a 35-year-old of Guelph is charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Careless driving

As a result, two parties involved in the collision were transported to local hospital with minor, non-life-threatening injuries.

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Guelph on September 12, 2025.

Taylor MILOTTE – Drunk Driving

(PERTH, ON) – The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Smiths Falls resident with impaired driving.

On Sunday, August 31, 2025, just before 1:30 a.m. police were called regarding a vehicle that struck a hydro pole in the Town of Perth. The vehicle fled, driving into a construction zone before getting stuck. The driver was located, arrested and transported to the OPP detachment in Perth for testing.

As a result of the investigation, Taylor MILOTTE, 27-years-old, has been charged with:

·        Operation while impaired – alcohol

·        Operation while impaired – Blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·        Novice driver – B.A.C above zero

·        Class G1 driver – drive without unaccompanied driver

·        Class G1 driver – drive at unlawful hour

·        Drive motor vehicle with liquor readily available

·        Unlawfully drive in a construction zone

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Monday, September 29, 2025.

The individual’s driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days (Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension), and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.

Caroline HUMPHREY – Drunk Driving

(TECUMSEH, ON) – On August 30, 2025, at approximately 7:50p.m., a member of the Essex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was conducting speed enforcement on Highway 3 near Sexton Sideroad in the Town of Tecumseh.

The officer observed a vehicle travelling at a speed of 125 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone, activated emergency lights and conducted a traffic stop. Upon speaking to the driver, the officer determined that the driver had previously consumed alcohol.

As a result, the driver was arrested and transported to a local detachment for further testing.

Caroline HUMPHREY, 29-years-old, of Windsor, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus),
  • Dangerous Operation.

The accused is scheduled to appear on September 10, 2025, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor to answer to the charges.

A 90-day administrative drivers licence suspension and 7-day vehicle impoundment were issued as per statute.

20 Year Old Facing Drunk Driving Charge

(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – Members from the City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) entered into an impaired driving investigation while investigating a collision.

On Sunday August 31, 2025 at approximately 01:51 am, officers were notified of a collision in a trailer park on Tracey’s Hill Road where the driver was believed to be impaired. The reported collision took place with a golf cart which collided into a shed. A golf cart is a conveyance and carries the same impaired driving charges under the Criminal Code as other conveyances such as motor vehicles (cars, motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles), vessels (boats, canoes), aircraft, which are just some examples. The driver was arrested and charged with Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act offences.

Justin Ramdihal, 20-year-old of Georgina, was charged with:

  • Operation while Impaired – Alcohol and Drug
  • Operation while Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay at a later date. The drivers license was suspended for 90 days and the conveyance was impounded for 7 days.

Farm Tractor Impounded, Morris-Turnberry Resident Arrested: Details Released

(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Morris-Turnberry resident with criminal driving offences following a traffic stop in a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) check in the Township of Morris-Turnberry on July 19th, 2025. 

Just before 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025, Huron County OPP officers checked a farm tractor driver that entered an OPP RIDE check on Clyde Line at Walton Road in Morris-Turnberry. Police spoke to the driver and discovered that they had consumed alcohol prior to driving.

The driver was subsequently arrested for impaired operation and transported to the Huron OPP detachment in Clinton where they provided breath samples before a qualified Intoxilyzer Breath Technician. Breath samples were provided to police which resulted in readings over the legal limit.

Chad COOK, 41 years-of-age from Morris-Turnberry has been charged with:

–      Operation while Impaired – Over 80,

–      Dangerous Operation.

The involved farm tractor was towed and impounded for 7 days, and the accused’s driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.

Igor SUHYH – Drunk Driving

(CHATHAM KENT, ON) – Elgin Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual with impaired operation on Highway 401.

On Thursday, August 28, 2025, at approximately 10:25 p.m., police responded to a traffic complaint regarding a commercial motor vehicle on Highway 401 in the Municipality of Chatham Kent.

As a result of the investigation, Igor SUHYH a 39-year-old from Toronto was charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Dangerous operation
  • Driving while under suspension (Highway Traffic Act) and,
  • Drive motor vehicle, not in accordance with permit limitations (Highway Traffic Act)

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a 7-day Vehicle Impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused was released on an Undertaking and scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Chatham on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.

Darryl SUTTON – Drunk Driving

(QUINTE WEST, ON) – The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges in an impaired driving investigation.

On Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at approximately 7:15 p.m., officers were conducting an investigation into a single vehicle collision on D J Whites Road, where an Approved Screening Device (ASD) was utilized, resulting in the arrest of the driver for being impaired. The driver was transported to the detachment for further testing.

Darryl SUTTON, age 54, from Brighton, was charged with the following offences:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on September 25, 2025. Additionally, the vehicle that was operated was impounded for seven days, and their licence suspended for 90 days.

Jeremy OVERBEEK – Drunk Driving

 (TILLSONBURG, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Oxford Detachment detected an impaired driver while on general patrol.

On August 24, 2025, at approximately 1:30 a.m., members of Oxford OPP initiated a traffic stop on Concession Street in the Town of Tillsonburg.

As a result of the investigation, Jeremy OVERBEEK, a 24-year-old resident of Tillsonburg, has been charged with:

  • Operation While Impaired
  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) 80 plus
  • Dangerous Operation

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on October 7, 2025.
